A modern witch for a webcomic I probably will never make.

When I had my booster shot I had this wild dream of a huge planetary battle between giant robot penguins shooting lasers from their beaks and dragons.

And this little blue hatchling fleeing the battlefield with her human pet and finding a little spot of peace by the beach

In this scenario humans were almost extinct and they survived as a species only because dragons found them cute and adopted them as pets

I’m fairly sure I’m going to call the dragon Nila, the human either Gary or Derek.

I’ve been thinking about the Shadecursed kickstarter. This is really just me kicking things around, but please let me know what y’all think!

Goal: $2000. This covers line and copyediting.

Stretch Goal #1: $4000: The short stories I’ve been writing for the world will be published as a book along with Shadecursed.

Stretch Goal #2: $10,000: I will be able to hire a professional voice actor at market maximum to do an audiobook version.

Donate a minimum of $5: You will receive a short story pdf set in the world of Erit, which is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. (unlimited)

Donate $15: You will receive a short story pdf, which is a story removed from the book about Benji first visiting his parents after being cursed. Includes previous tier. (unlimited)

Donate $30: You will receive a signed paperback copy of Shadecursed upon publication. Includes previous tiers. (unlimited) 

Donate $50: You will receive a signed hardcover copy of Shadecursed upon publication. Includes the $5 and $15 tier.

Donate $100: I will do a character sketch for you of your Erit OC. This character is not canon and will not appear in the book, however, I can work with you directly on appearance. Includes $5, $15, and $30 tiers. (limited to 25)

Donate $300: I will do a detailed character reference sheet for your Erit OC. This will include some color at my discretion. This character is not canon and will not appear in the book, however, I can work with you directly on appearance. Includes previous tiers. Includes $5, $15, and $50 tiers. (limited to 10)

Donate $500: You will be allowed to name a place on the map, which will be referred to by the characters in the book at least once. While this will likely be a passing reference, I will work with you to design the aesthetic of the location, and it will become canon for the world and may be used in future stories. Location is subject to the rules of the world and also to my own approval. Includes previous tiers. Includes $5, $15, $50, and $300 tiers. (Limited to 5)

Donate $1000: This includes all previous tiers except the $30 tier. The character you design will appear in Shadecursed in a cameo role, and will have at least one speaking line. I will work with you very closely to ensure this character fits into the world of Erit while also making sure you are happy with your character’s appearance and role. This character will only make a brief appearance in Shadecursed and will not appear in any future publications by the author. (Limited to 2)
