10th Anniversary
Hi, everyone!
I hope this post finds you all doing well.
01-March was my 10th blog anniversary here:)
How was your 2020?
Past year had been a challenging year for me even without COVID-19 situation. I sometimes wish if I had more time and energy to live my life the way I wanted to. But oh well, I guess I should believe these difficulties will boost me to a better person.

Fandoms:Final Fantasy 8 and10, occasionally 6and7.Dark Matter(SyFy). Star Wars EU (Legends) New Republic era (yes, this is very narrow and possibly no one here knows what I’m talking about. I am not a fan of Disney canon at all. I don’t like a lot of Legends, and I’m not that crazy about the movies).
Most popular one-shot:Inexplicable. Oddly, this Final Fantasy story has gotten more attention from non-Final Fantasy fans than Final Fantasy fans.
Most popular two-shot: [Dark Matter] It Just IsandOff the Radar.
Most popular multichapter: [Final Fantasy 8 &10] Love Don’t Die.
Actual worst part of writing: The middle. I often end up with a solid beginning and ending, but somehow am totally unable to connect them. That’s probably why I mostly write short stuff.
How you choose your titles: No formula. Often they seem obvious once I have a premise. Occasionally, it will be more difficult, but I really have trouble working on a story without a title, and working titles tend to stick. “Love Don’t Die” isn’t the greatest title for that story, it made more sense on earlier drafts, but there’s no way I could change it now.
Do you outline: Sometimes. It doesn’t really help, but sometimes I want to write ideas down so I don’t forget them.
Ideas I probably won’t get around to, but wouldn’t it be nice?: So many! I have a lot of works-in-progress. Those might actually get finished. I also have several epic-length crossover ideas that will probably never happen. The main story (Star Wars) that made me want to write fanfic in the first place I still haven’t properly started. I’ve tried to come at it from 17 different directions and nothing seems to work. It’s been bouncing around in my head for like 15 years, and this very old one-shot is pretty much all I have to show for it.

Best writing traits: I really try to focus on characterization.
Spicy tangential opinion: I don’t like smut, or anything remotely resembling it. I don’t read it and I don’t write it. (That’s why I’m not on AO3.)
