Those who claim that we must take care of our own citizens, and ignore foreigners, they break apart the universal harmony of humankind. And once that is gone, kindness, generosity, goodness, and justice are altogether destroyed.

Tosavearefugeeornottosave a refugee, this is the most pertinent question being asked in the American GOP debates. The nucleus of the issue is the “vetting process”,. This is the process of screening these refugees, and making sure the process is thorough enough. The number one concern is Isis infiltrates will use this to their advantage and send sleeper cells in with refugees for a direct passage to the States from Syria. The Americans seem to be quite apprehensive, especially if your a republican .
But you need to look at the scenario from a totality, out of hundreds of the refugees the majority are women and young children. Only a small minority are young men. So does this make the Americans quarrel with the issue at hand minuscule? Yes there is a small chance that could happen and Isis could get a small handful in if that. Shouldn’t we just want to help them for the sake of being humanitarian. There humans not Syrians , humans should want to help humans. Of course that sounds great like daisy’s and roses, and yes its great to sound progressively conservative. But things are much more complicated then that, there are many more variables that are taken into the equations. Unfortunately that seems to factor out being humanitarian for some nations as the states.
But not all nations see the issue in the same light. Some to much credit are a lot more compassionate and are willing to take the minuscule risk in aiding life.
To be fair the recent Paris attacks didn’t ease any nations mind when ISIS claimed responsibility for it. But if the American press did a better job at perpetuating the idea that it was EU citizens that carried out the attacks.(EU citizens that joined Isis) Instead of “ISIS strikes again in Paris”,. Maybe the US would of elected let the refugees in.
Fortunately enough England, France, Canada and Belgium have agreed to start the process of bringing some refugees out of the country, other nations remain skeptical. To save a refugee or not that is the question, protect your own nation at the cost of innocent lives…….is there blood on your nations hands?
