I can’t stop picturing her as looking like Nesta except growing up taller, having darker skin, Cassian’s smile, and rivaling Cassian as the greatest Illyarian warrior while staring her enemies down with her chin raised and her own I will slay my enemies look
In the short time that Nesta has known Cassian she has seen him literally on deaths door step like 3 times. She has seen him in pain countless other times. She avoids him because she doesn’t want to be first in the long line of people waiting to get the news that he died. She is trying to protect herself.
Now love is worth the risk but she doesn’t know that yet

A case can be made for both Feyre and Cassian, sure. While a similar case can be made for their treatment towards her. But that’s literally it.

Nesta isn’t the monster you all have made her out to be and she always delivers what she has been served. Treat her with respect and she will treat you accordingly.

I’ve been wanting to re-draw the two illustrations I’ve made of Nesta and Elain, and then add Feyre to it since I’ve never drawn the third sister! I think this re-draw looks A LOT better than the original, and I’m so happy with it. plus Nesta as a Valkyrie? Hell yeah! ⚔️✨
✨ I’ve had this image stuck in my head for weeks and I needed to draw their family picture. Reading ACOSF made me feel even sorrier for the three sisters because of how their mother and father treated them. Nesta, the one who was groomed by her mother to be like her. Elain, who was only seen as a pretty face by her mother. And Feyre, the one her mother only cared about when it came to protecting the family.
✨ so here it is, and I honestly cried while sketching this out. It was a very emotional piece to me.
