Tired of seeing ppl say c!Techno doesn’t care about anyone other than himself (or c!Phil, for that matter) when he has shown time and time again he cares for c!Niki and c!Ranboo. He was genuinely upset when c!Ranboo was killed, sought out answers for it, refused to leave with c!Dream because he wasn’t gonna leave without c!Ranboo, literally has a plan to get revenge on c!Sam. He has always been kind to c!Niki and has shown concern for her several times. He has genuinely cared about and fought for c!Tommy before they fell out. c!Techno may not be the most empathetic character, and he may not show how much he cares for his friends often, but he clearly cares deeply.
You know those, I made a bot watch 30 hours of *blank* and had them write a script posts? I think it would be funny if we did that but with Dream SMP streams or at least a single streamers streams like Tommyinnit or Awesamdude lore streams.
From reading a couple posts, I’ve seen people being angry at c!Niki for helping Techno and Phil break Dream out of prison. They also forget that this breakout wasn’t just for Dream but also to breakout Ranboo, who was unjustly taken and imprisoned by Sam. In other words, Niki only helped out of loyalty to her friends.(Which she also iterated in her stream when talking to Jack)
Also, it appears I am now a Niki apologist. Also also, she didn’t do it because she was ordered to Techno gave her the choice to help or not and she chose to help.
niki has been praised for her acting for so long and she’s been talking about how she wants to be a bigger part of the story for so long that it actually fucking hurts me. it’s literally been *months* that she’s been dedicated to this but she’s left with nothing from the other members around her. and it makes it so weird bc she’s like. giving her fucking all and they just. ignore her and overlook her constantly.
and i have no fucking doubt in my mind that it’s because she is a woman. every conversation she is in with some members of the smp, it somehow comes back to her “relationship” with wilbur, which is a very sexist narrative. having the only woman who’s majorly involved with the plot be constantly pushed to the side and overlooked and talked over is, even unintentionally, very sexist. the smp only passed the bechdel test when niki and puffy went on their date. that was after november 16th. that was less than 2 months ago.
and even though it’s a trend in gaming spaces for it to be male dominated, it doesn’t excuse how blatantly sexist the smp is. intentionally or not doesn’t matter. the writers are all men and thus don’t consider all the effects of having only men in a story. there are many women that would be ama ing fits for the smp, but as of right now there are only 2 women on active the smp.
tommy is a very key perpetrator of this. it’s just.

just saying “i hate all men” does not make him a feminist or even in the slightest bit progressive, it’s just a joke he makes. and even if he doesn’t realize it, it doesn’t negate its consequences. which are real and affect people, as we see from the video of niki literally fucking crying.
additionally, the storyline focuses mainly on men and their plot lines, so niki has had several arcs set up that were just. dropped. i remember watching the sneak peak of “dear friend” live and just. being so excited for what was to come and. it’s just. nothing.
and i think this is why so many fans were so excited to see niki’s current arc. it’s *something* from her and it’s independent and autonomous and self-actualizing and i just. i’m frustrated beyond reasonable debate.
and even with her current arc being set up so well and having a proper lead-up, it’s just. probably going to be ignored again because tommy is trying to fucking kill dream again this week, which will shift the narrative focus from actually interesting plots like niki’s and fundy’s and quackity’s and ranboo’s to yet another fucking conflict about the discs. i don’t care about the sentimental value the discs have or what the discs stand for or anything. it’s been used and overused to the point of genuine annoyance from me and several others.
i am of the honest opinion that they should kill tommy to have the smp move on. like fully unironically. i am 100% serious. i’m tired of tommy. society has progressed past the need for tommyinnit. why does the smp even need a fucking main character anyway? it’s a group roleplay, those aren’t supposed to have main characters.
idk how to end this and it’s kinda all over the place and king but. yeah. i’m tired of niki being overlooked and ignored and the constant sexism on the dream smp server.
the only thing abt this post is that the youtube video of her crying isnt bc of the smp. it’s bc she can’t see her family due to lockdown. the og poster on youtube was using a misleading title but they changed the title from what i’ve seen.
I feel like c!wilbur is gradually saving the apologies based on who was hurt the most by his actions. c!techno was first, then c!tubbo, next is either c!ghostbur or c!niki, then c!fundy, and finally c!tommy.
id pay large amounts of money to see the entire dreamsmp play among us, split eachother into like 3 servers and all stream at the one time. please i need this
