AO3 offer a comfortable, no payment, ad-free service in exchange for donations specifically to KEEP THE WEBPAGE UP AND RUNNING and people still complain?!

AO3 and OTW were specifically created by women fandom hold in direct responde to a bunch of men trying to monetize and profite off fanfiction. This is all on AO3’s about me. The distribution of funds is on AO3’s FAQ. They have a public spreadsheet of finances available
AO3’s code is also open source, which is why customization is allowed via user-made themes and presets. AO3 was coded, conceived, and made entirely by volunteers, most of them women. Some of yall are ungrateful or hella ignorant of how one of the most important modern fic hosting sites came to be…

i have been for a little while, but i think with everything it’s about time i distanced myself from smosh. i haven’t been keeping up with videos, and nothing’s really the same anymore.

The data received from this survey may be published online (here on this blog), but nothing personally will come alongside it. This information will help me to create a presentation about the LGBTQ+ (MOGAI) community that I (and you!) can use to educate those who want to learn.
Plus, I get to look at neat statistics. :)

first I wanna say that I LOVE that Ify is on the streams because, according to the smoshcast, he n Damien have had a non-public friendship for a while now, so they have a REAAAALLLLLLY refreshing and kinda feral rapport
in the same stream as the Peaches reference, there are two other HILARIOUS Damien & Ify moments that just electrified me in the best way. I know the ~new best friends~ podcasts were playful, but it’s incredible to see Damien interacting with someone who met him outside of any sort of public actor persona…
so thankful for the person creating the ~slime tutorials~ of all the streams bc if I had been watching live I would’ve desperately wanted to rewind & relive it, to the point of seriously considering subscribing.
side note, the other moments also happen during that same game but I don’t remember if they were before or after Peaches; in any case, that entire game starts 1.5 hours in!
