Better known simply as Arianne Martell, is the eldest daughter of Doran Martell, the ruling Prince of Dorne, and his consort, Lady Mellario of Norvos. She is the heiress of Sunspear, and the future ruling Princess of Dorne.
She is described with large dark eyes, long thick back hair (ringlets specifically), short statured, and dresses in layers of flowing silks and jewels. She’s fierce-tempered, adventurous, and calculating with multiple schemes of her own in the books.

what do you mean i’m not important? or that you’renot important? the other day i stood and watched a tree all full of flowers shivering in the morning wind. i was the only one around. who else would have watched it dance? who else but you will notice the way the sun is slanting through your windows? how the rain scoops over your roof? the most important thing is to just exist, you see. by observing the world, we celebrate alongside it.
honestly if teleporters ever got invented during my lifetime i would be the most annoying analog boomer about it. my grandkids would be like ugh, grandma, why don’t you just take a teleporter trip to come visit us, we all do it all the time and it’s obviously safe and i would be like absolutely not. it kills you and reconstitutes a copy with your exact memories. you are consciously my grandchildren and i do not hold it against you but i know in my heart that you are nothing but copies of copies of copies borne out of irresponsible technology use. i am not touching that devil’s elevator as long as i live. i will take an airplane and you will wait for the several hours it takes for me to come visit you
