#inktober day 20! Can’t wait for this to be over Today’s #demon is Asmodeus! Admodeus is the demon of lust, who appears as a being with three heads - one of a ram, one of a bull & one of a man with fiery breath. The Book of Tobit tells of Asmodeus killing seven men for trying to marry Sarah, who he lusted after, until he was stopped by the angel Raphael. Fuckin creep.

#inktober day 17?! Wow. Today’s #demon is Allocer or Aloces. Allocer appears as a knight on horseback, often described as having a lion-like face, glowing eyes & a roaring voice. Despite his getup he’s not really into battles as much as astronomy & the liberal arts. Scary face, but observation & charting are much more his bag than stabby-stabby. What a cool dude!

HI FRIENDS. #inktober day 14! Today’s #demon is Ronove or Ronwe. Ronove’s appearance is described only as ‘monstrous’ in Weyer’s ‘Pseudomonarchia Daemonum’. His skills are noted in more detail, though; Ronove is a skilled debater, rhetorician & linguist. Whether he uses those skills for good or ill is up for debate, though! I’m seriously in need of more Ronove in my life, either way

#inktober day 6! Today’s #demon is Haborym, Aym or Aim. Aim appears as handsome man, entirely human, except for the heads of a snake & a cat that sit on either of his shoulders. He’s a wise & generous demon who will answer questions truthfully & ‘in good humour’. Sounds like just about the nicest demon there is! If it weren’t for the torch he carries, which he uses to set fire to literally everything literally all of the time. He’s also known for his sharp wit, delivering verbal burns as well as physical ones. Badass.
