Epoch: Eons before the Empire of mankind, when dinosaurs still inhabited the earth and the Emperor had not incarnated in a man to guide primitive humans.
The “Ancient Ones” were the first interstellar race that evolved in the galaxy until reaching the technological peak that made them the first cosmic gods. (They were originally the beings that created the Orks, Aeldari among many other different races.)
In the beginning the Ancients were beings similar to cold-blooded amphibians, but as they expanded through the galaxy many other sentient races joined them in exploring the stars, soon the Ancients took on various appearances and reached a greater understanding of life through what they stated that every living being was valuable to the universe.
With a high ideal about life they began to reap the appearance of other species that provided intelligence on each planet that they found optimal for their great plan. As the Ancient Ones traveled over the sea of ​​stars, their knowledge of astrology and astronomy expanded to the extent that both disciplines became such an amazing arcane science that primitive beings were left with the impression that magical acts were a gift from their gods.
