Things went about as well as you would have expected for Leia and Starkiller. It was a noble effort on Leia’s part.

I’m not sure E11 Blasters had been introduced yet by this point in the Star Wars timeline but there’s a limit to the perfectionism I can put into a project that’s supposed to be fun.

Back with another addition of the Galaxy’s worst family reunion. If only Leia realized she was one of the only people in the Empire who can one-hit-kill Vader in a conversation by talking about Padme.

Apologies for the delay. I had a bit of art block working on this, and I spent a lot of the past month focused on my move.

Finally some quality father-daughter bonding in this wholesome fanfic. Leia really pulled the uno-reverse card on this interrogation.

Not going to joke around, this has been the most complex update I’ve made so far. I would say it’s two updates in one with five additional panels for both the Padme Flashbacks and Leia’s kidnapping. 

Some of the inspirations for this update are the Vader comics. I love the idea of Force-projections. Leia has the garb and appearance from before her kidnapping, and Anakin is depicted as her age, mirroring her influence on the force. I was also inspired by Ben’s interrogation of Rey in Episode 7.

It was such a relief to make an update that was only six panels long. I can’t say the same for next update, which is looking like it will be one of the most ambitious updates of the entire comic. 

The LukeMara vibes are strong in this update. I have a soft spot for the ship.

It took her long enough. 

I initially was going to queue this for later in the month… but it is Revenge of the Fifth. I thought I might treat y’all early, even if that means a longer wait for the next update.

Now for another mystery: who combed Leia’s hair into the clone-wars-anakin look this update? (I’d like to think it was Proxy.)

I really liked the title of “Lady Vader” given to Leia in the original Thrawn trilogy–and that Leia was somewhat uncomfortable with it. Leia got this title from the Noghri, but I like to headcanon that children of Sith traditionally inherit their parents’ title, even without becoming Lords through training. 

This attaches to another headcanon of mine about the Sith: that their use of the Dark Side is akin to injecting themselves with poison over a long period of time. The result is significant damage to their bodies, which is somewhat reflected in canon. This would make it exceedingly rare for a Sith Lord to have a biological child.
