I repainted Jacen twice, and Jaina 6 times before giving up.
I never read beyond the Yuuzhan Vong stuff, as i found it to be a fitting end, based on the books I did read in the EU. Like everything lead up to that, and then you know… Empire.. Republic.. Working together, nice stuff.
Also, chiss had no pupils in Legends, and same facial bone structure as humans, which is why they were painted differently here.
Also painted Stent like that one Thrawn image..

To celebrate the completion of their fanfic Interregnum (200,000+ words holy smokes), the writers asked me to illustrate a scene of Mara Jade being her usual badass self, and well, how could I say no? Check it out, there’s action and Luke/Mara goodness and all the good characters from the golden era of the EU. 

Don’t have any finished work for you guys this week, so here, have a Mara WIP from a hopefully upcoming fashion/hairstyles dump.

First ever commission for fellow Luke x Mara fan @angel-gidget, who asked for our badass duo in the nick of action and Luke in the Yuzhaan Vong armor, which was surprisingly easier to draw than I thought it would be XD 

Due to no one giving me the Luke x Mara content I need, I will henceforth be making it myself. So here you go, another instance of Luke Skywalker and his practical, badass wife. No catsuit or loose sexy hair in this corner XD

Mara Jade! I always see her depicted in the black jumpsuit with her hair flying loose and sexy, but in the books she tends to go for practical clothes and a utilitarian braid. 

Oh also, I read @jedimordsithOraclefic last year and couldn’t get the idea of Mara in coronet braids out of my head <3

Luke and Mara from the Star Wars EU! My little contribution to the fandom. They’ve been my faves since I picked up an old battered copy of Heir to the Empire when I was a teenager and fell in love with their relationship.

Back with another addition of the Galaxy’s worst family reunion. If only Leia realized she was one of the only people in the Empire who can one-hit-kill Vader in a conversation by talking about Padme.

Apologies for the delay. I had a bit of art block working on this, and I spent a lot of the past month focused on my move.

It was such a relief to make an update that was only six panels long. I can’t say the same for next update, which is looking like it will be one of the most ambitious updates of the entire comic. 

The LukeMara vibes are strong in this update. I have a soft spot for the ship.

I did some illustrations with Miles for a short story he felt should be in the new Star Wars.

Had a blast with these, always love getting a chance to do any Star Wars art! I’m not one who believes Rey is a Skywalker but I was more than happy to help Miles out with this.
