I can’t believe King is having this life changing field trip with Steve of all people and yet at the same time I totally can? Steve has no baggage about King. They’ve met before, but they’re not family, or even really friends; Steve is an outside eye and he’s going through his own realizations. He’s kind of perfect for this.

no, it’s okay, this is salvageable. Raine told the Captain to report directly to them. Unless that one Steve managed to intuit from Luz dropping Raine’s name that they’re on the rebels’ side, which seems like a leap, these two are just going to be dropped directly into Raine’s arms.
I couldn’t pause this whole sequence, just took screenshots as I went. This hurts, a lot. Eda is trying so goddamn hard to get her kid out of harm’s way; Luz is trying so goddamn hard to keep herself from being sidelined and make sure she’s helpful.
And she still thinks Eda has a plan.
