I finally saw No Way Home. We waited until now because the theaters would be less crowded, and we went during a week-day. There were just us and four other people there and we were sitting way apart from each other. I’ve gone this far without catching omicron, even though people around me have been exposed and had to isolate. So far, we’re asymp or the vaccinations held.
So I was spoiled, but a friend who went with me wasn’t and it was great to see his reaction with each new ‘surprise’.
I had this idea since Ned might be 'magic’ he might become Hobgoblin, the brainwashed version that is, and Peter might go visit Bucky to get insight on what it’s like to be brainwashed and if the 'real’ him was still in there somewhere….which is just an excuse to squeeze Sebastian into a Spider-Man movie so he and Tom would have some scenes together….can you image the press tour? lol.
Speaking of Sebastian, I will not be watching Pam and Tommy, simply because I’m not interested in the story. I watch for the story/plot, not the actor. Not judging….that’s just how I roll. I didn’t watch the Devil all the Time either, because the story didn’t interest me.
Oh sure, sure, Sebastian playing Jeff Gillooly is totally fine but Sebastian playing Tommy Lee is where you draw the line.
Oh but those Dark!Bucky stories you all love so damn much where he’s raping reader and being abusive is just fine and hot af. Fuck outta here with your bullshit.
Sebastian is an actor, actors tell stories. Good, bad and ugly. They tell them all. If you don’t like the idea of the movie then don’t watch it! Super duper easy but don’t go blaming an actor for telling a real life story of shit that happens every day and doesn’t get talked about.
As someone who was not only alive back then but an actual adult, it was a wild time. As a former Tommy Lee fan, I’m trusting Gillespie and Seb to get this right and show the chaos, the crazy shit, the crap, and the fact that as dysfunctional as they were, I think they really did fall in love the only way they knew how. Much like Tonya and Jeff. Unfortunately not everyone has the life or relationship skills they should have.
And I’m so sick of people going on about Seb sucks, Seb’s not the same, why would Seb friend Tommy on Insta, does Seb condone Tommy’s behavior, are they friends now, blah blah blah. It’s called his fucking JOB, children.
Someone point me to where Pam herself said one thing against this show? And even if she does, do we stop telling (highly public, we all watched it unfold back then) stories because one party doesn’t want it portrayed? I get that she’s the victim here, but censoring entertainment to placate one (again, very purposely public) person makes me uncomfortable.

Just to let everyone know, I am watching Pam & Tommy… I was mostly watching it because Sebastian Stan.
I’ve gotta say this. Tommy NEVER acted this outrageous. Even in his book where he talks about Pam, which I’ve read, isn’t this insane. I know he’s shitty human, I get it. But this portrayal of him… is crass and completely dramatic.
So… I did some digging. Turns out this ENTIRE series is based upon the guy who stole the tapes interview with Rolling Stones magazine. It’s LITERALLY from the perspective of their abuser. That’s completely abhorrent.
So the producer does a “little quick google search” and decides to write a stupid scene that never happened and about the band story and shows that they didn’t do any research before writing this stupid show
