I must confess, I had really low expectations for this movie. I didn’t love Spider Man: Far From Home very much, and I really only wanted to watch it for Doctor Strange. Then I heard Matt Murdock made a 20 second appearance, and I rushed as fast as I could to see that movie.
That movie was an absolute masterpiece. The Daredevil appearance, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and just literally every single crossover character made me go !!!!!!!!
One of the weirdest opinions/criticisms(?) I’ve heard from a couple people at the theater after The Batman ended was “I liked Spider-Man (No Way Home) better.”
Like?? I know what you like is down to personal preference and all that, like if you just personally vibed with NWH more then I get that, but, this just doesn’t make sense to me…
The Batman and Spider-Man: NWH are wildly different films in terms of story, characters, universe, tone….how are they comparable? Just because they’re both superhero/comic book films??
I enjoyed both movies for different reasons, but they’re not really comparable in my mind. Both movies are their own thing entirely.
Stop lumping all comic book films together like they’re all a single genre (people need to stop doing the same to animated films as well).

Actually so emotional about Andrew Peter…just like. He just loves so much. He chooses to love life when it would be so easy to hate it. He loves people who aren’t here anymore and people he never really knew, he loves people who tried to kill him and after all this time he’s still trying to save them, he loves people he doesn’t know but who love a different version of him, he loves those reflections of himself so much that he goes out of his way to tell them he does and to call them his brothers after so short a time…and they give him that love back, and they tell him he is worthy of it, and after everything, he hates himself a little less.
