I went to a friends house the other day for lunch and coffee (safe pod) and I thanked them multiple times for caring for me in this simple way. I didn’t know how much I missed that. This pause has made me dig deep to find my own well of joy, while I’m sure on many levels this is good and important work, it has also made me realize we are social creatures who lean on each other to reflect basic sanity and kindness. We’ve been holding it together for a year. Four whole seasons. That’s a lot. ❤️ #paradigmshift #pandemiclife (at Vermont)
