but Aaron Taylor Johnson was NOT recasted by Evan Peters to play Pietro Maximoff in Wandavision.

Long ago, Marvel comics was going broke so they sold off their characters to a bunch of major movie studios in an effort to stay afloat. Sony got the Spiderverse, Fox got the XMenverse, New Line Cinema made the Blade trilogy, and Universal had the Hulk for a time.

Long before the MCU, FOX created the XMen movie universe because of the character rights they had. Now, XMen are genetically born as super-powered individuals aka Mutants. The movies sucked because of the lack of cohesiveness. For instance, in 2014 when FOX wanted to revamp the franchise, Evan Peters was casted to play Quicksilver/Peter Maximoff (idk why they Americanized his name). In the XMen movies, Peter is a mutant and Magnetos child like in the comics, but not related to Wanda (she isn’t even in them and he’s not from Sokovia) [a/n the director had a small deleted scene that alluded to Wanda but it wasn’t only for fun and not meant to be taken seriously. Also, the little sister Peter has in that one scene is unnamed and mostly likely not Magnetos kid].

Disney/Marvel Studios asked FOX for character rights for Wanda and Pietro (who were XMen) so they can add them to the MCU, but FOX said they were only allowed to have Quicksilver for (1) film, the twins can’t be mutants, and their father can’t be Magneto. So, the MCU made the Maximoff twins HYDRA science experiments and killed Pietro/Aaron Taylor Johnson off in Age of Ultron (2015).

Then, the FOX/Disney merger happened (in 2019 i think) which meant that Disney now has rights to characters FOX originally had like the XMen (and Fantastic 4 which was teased in SDCC 2019).

This allowed Wandavision to be able to use FOX’s version of Quicksilver which is Evan Peters. Evans appearance has probably something to do with reality being altered or the multiverse coming to fruition. Either way, he’s not really the ATJ Pietro from Age of Ultron. He’s something/someone else we have yet to find out.

So like, for Halloween, I feel like the Avengers would dress up in their uniforms and walk around where kids trick or treat

First their intentions are just to make some kids happy/surprise them, but then it turns into a really competitive game (between the avengers) where Nat tries to blend in with the trick or treaters and the rest of the Avengers would try to find her (like some kind of ‘where’s Waldo’ thing)

And there’s not even a prize or anything, they just get really into the game, and they reallywant to win

And they’re in full gear, trying to find a trained spy, in a huge crowd of kids in costumes, in the dark

So now you have the literal avengers frantically trying to find Nat, running/flying/swinging through different neighborhoods on Halloween

Imagine being a kid trick or treating and u just see fricking iron man flying above u then Hawkeye in a tree and spidey on a telephone pole and captain America running rly fast/jumping to high places all just to find nat

Plot twist- nat is in the avengers tower the whole time watching them try to find her
