Why isn’t he with you?” He unleashed a flurry of questions, each more adamant and insistent than the last, and it seemed that Dandelion was quickly overwhelmed by them, especially given the fact that he was hardly given a chance to get a word in edgewise as the elf bombarded him.

“No he’s– I mean, yes he’s here, that’s what I’ve been trying to say,” he tried to explain, for the first time in the years Isengrim had known him seeming to struggle with his words, “But he’s…What I’m trying to say is that Dijkstra is here!” Dandelion finally proclaimed rather forcefully, as he gestured beside him.
