Masaaki Iwane drew Alain today. From the sound of it, more art is upcoming! (Man, I really can’t wait till we get a proper appearance for him tho! The Flare arc was my favorite villain arc in the anime and one of the coolest arcs overall, so it’d be extremely hype if we got flashbacks for it!)
Finally, Hop is here! The poor dude didn’t even get an introductory episode like Hau did. Still no shot of Mairin tho either. Ash with his Mega Glove, his Z-Ring, and his Dynamax Band! And Cynthia applying her lipstick before having Garchomp attack.

I’m rooting for Diantha, personally. (Edit, didn’t notice the order of the matches was in the trailer earlier. The match will probably go to Diantha since she’d be facing Leon, like why have Lance lose again? That means Ash would most likely be facing down Cynthia next.)
In honor of her departure, we have Neo Kalos Queen Serena done in the Sailor Moon manga style. Her dress was really fun to play around with to mimic that of her anime appearance. You were an amazing character Serena, thank you for everything, especially that you know what at the end ;) Painted in photoshop.

I think Ash will win the league, regarding the fact that Sun and Moon doesn’t have gyms it will technically be his last chance to win an 8 Gym badge league. And if that isn’t the perfect chance to let Ash win I dunno what is.
