BREAKING: Panic erupts at Ariana Grande concert after a ‘loud bang’ reported at Manchester Arena, casualties confirmed
- Late Monday evening, reports of a possible explosion at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England began to trickle out onto social media.
- Thousands of young people were crammed into the arena to watch Ariana Grande perform during her world tour.
- “I and my sister, along with a lot of others were seeing Ariana Grande perform at Manchester Arena, and we were all exiting the venue when around 10.40-10,45pm-ish a huge bomb-like bang went off that hugely panicked everyone and we were all trying to flee the arena,” concertgoer Majid Khan told the Telegraph.
- “It was one bang and essentially everyone from the other side of the arena where the bang was heard from suddenly came running towards us as they were trying to exit Trinity Way and that was blocked so everyone was just running to any exit they could find as quickly as they could.“
- Video from inside the arena has also emerged, showing the crowed in a sheer panic moments after the incident.

As a fellow Christian, I pray everyday that one day I will be able to see a world where your people will be persecuted by the Faith in which you guys believe in. Islam is not the cause for the tragedies that happen in this world everyday. People who do not interpret your holy book correctly are. I will defend you people for I know you all represent a peaceful religion centered around Love and Faith. And the media may portray Islam as the root of all evil; but I hope others educate themselves like I did. Fuck Islamaphobia. I hope that all have a blessed Ramadan. Mashallah.
Broken
We are irreparably and irrevocably broken. There’s not another way around it. Nothing can fix us; fix the world. Everyone knows that we aren’t perfect. We have our flaws. But what people might have not yet realized is that we are hopeless the moment we open our eyes in that hospital room. We are taught by our parents, teachers, friends and neighbors about the unfairness of the world we live in but they never do tell us the harsh reality. We are broken as a whole.
We break things, we break people, we break our environment and we break our animals. Sometimes we do it intentionally and sometimes we do not.
But despite all that, despite our weaknesses and how broken everything is around us, there is a certain beauty in trying to fix ourselves. We pick up glue guns and we start piece by piece. We will not be completely fixed but we will not be completely broken either.
