some outfits suggested in the brushbug server lead to a whole AU idea where they’re both art lecturers whose students are convinced they’re having an affair with each other (they’re married actually)
olruggio has opinions about watercolour vs gouache which he’s ranting to qifrey about despite qifrey being the watercolour artist and olruggio working with sculpture. qifrey’s known for landscapes and the sudden Really Fucked Up abstract art that’s unnerving to look at. he’s got both in his office and the messed-up ones are above his desk so he can see them when he’s working at it and students are like “urm…” whenever they go in there for a chat
olruggio’s desk is always a mess of in-progress concept art so he doesn’t use it for usual work, basically hunching over his laptop on his actual lap
Qifrey is what you’d get if Sasuke uchiha had enough emotional intelligence to realise roleplaying as a quirky anime girl was the best way to achieve his cold blooded revenge

got really stuck on a bunch of projects but really inspired by the designs in witch hat atelier, so did a test of qifrey!! this is mostly bedsheets and pins, but i enjoy the look a lot.
