Space cat Do you believe cats are messengers from other worlds? What do you think look like those who sent them to the Planet Earth. I tried to imagine them and drew this pretty lady in a tight-fitting suit with an antenna on her head. Probably all this is crazy, but quarantine is already literally driving me crazy. And how are you? I haven’t painted with watercolors for a long time, because I discovered a new technique for creating digital works. But today is the day when I again picked up the brush. I hope you enjoy it You can find the original work in my Etsy. Last night I was marveling at 8pm because it was still light out. When did that happen?
I feel like #spring is especially poignant this year because nothing (and I mean NOTHING) is different inside the house, but nature keeps right on chugging along outside.
I think we take those little nuances for granted most years… the day the trees turn green, when the #dogwoods unfurl. It’s not a BIG, GRAND happening. But this year, in this 6 weeks of sameness, the littlest change outside is like a beacon to our understimulated brains and we latch on. We notice.
I hope we can carry that with us when this is over.
