Day 10 (Bonus round, Dawn)
By: AmbraSue (Red team)
The stars are so very bright in the desert, bright enough that he doesn’t need any other light to navigate by. The spiral galaxy over his head is a shining band of white-blue-purple that reflects in the shimmering of his wings. Though, even if it had been pitch-black, he would be able to find his way in this case. He isn’t going to some nameless village, or on some heaven-sent mission. There is no assignment, no duty to fulfill, no orders to make sure he gets right. This time he chooses his own path, can go where he wishes, and the journey here, choosing to make this journey, is almost as important as the destination.
He is going to Crowley, after all. His true north, the brightest shining star in his life. The center of his universe, the one being that makes his existence worthwhile, who demands nothing from him except who he already is. He can feel the thread that connects them, that has always connected them as far back as Eden. It shines radiant still, even stronger than it was in those early days when the world was new. He can feel how close Crowley is, he can tell he is waiting, and he crests the last dune separating them just as dawn breaks over the horizon. There. Home.

“Another?”
Crowley leaned forward with his glass extended to accept Aziraphale’s offer.
“My dear, you’ll have to actually come over here if you want it.” It was true, even with Crowley’s long limbs, there was still a considerable distance from Aziraphale’s sitting chair to the couch where the demon was currently sprawled. A calculated considerable distance.
“S’foo far.” Crowley slurred as wiggled his wineglass in Aziraphale’s direction. “C’mon angel, you offered.”
Aziraphale sighed and hefted himself to his feet, the alcohol singing in his veins made sure that it was a more difficult manuever than usual. A slow smile was growing on Crowley’s face as he made his way across the room, winebottle clutched in one hand.
“Good service here” Crowley’s smile split as he raised his glass to meet him.
Aziraphale rolled his eyes but knew he was smiling too.
“Hold it steady now”
Aziraphale tried to focus on the rim of the wobbling glass, chasing it with the bottle. It was an uncoordinated affair as wine missed and sloshed on the floor.
“Look now, I said hold steady”
“I am. It’s you. Sit down.”
Aziraphale placed a hand on the glass in an attempt to steady it at the same time that Crowley grabbed his elbow and yanked him down onto the couch beside him. He went easily.
“Oh dear.”
They were close now. Considerably close. Aziraphale could see Crowley’s eyes through his glasses and could feel his fingers under his on the glass.
“Now try.” Crowley whispered.
Aziraphale swallowed and nodded before trying to pour again.
This time he made it and eveb after they clinked glasses in a messy cheers Aziraphale didn’t return to his chair.
Day 10 (Bonus round, Dawn)

Aziraphale heard a noise and looked up from his book for the first time since he had started. Outside the big Window in their library the sky was starting to brighten. Goodness, he had really gotten distracted with this one. The noise sounded again, and Aziraphale decided to investigate. If a noise could stop him from reading in this state, it was sure to be worth investigating.
He made his way up the old, creaking wooden stairs, up to their bedroom, because he had a certain suspicion on what the noise could be. His suspicions were confirmed when it sounded again, echoing in the hallway upstairs. A voice. A small, scared voice calling his name.
He sighed and opened the bedroom door.
Inside, tangled in a mess of blankets, obviously from thrashing around, lay Crowley, sleeping, but not resting. Another nightmare. And Crowley didn’t even enjoy normal horses.
Aziraphale knew what to do by now. He sat down, right there at the edge of the bed and waited. Touching Crowley in this state wouldn’t do either of them any good, they had found that out soon enough. This needed patience. But that was alright. Crowley deserved patience.
Slowly the whimpering and thrashing ebbed out and Crowley’s sleeping body found Aziraphale’s, pressing his head into the dip of his hip.
“There you are, my love. I Have you.”
Sucy: Lotte be careful! There’s a monster under your bed and it’s really ugly
Akko, on the bottom bunk: honestly fuck you
Oh my god, I love this.
