Miraculous Ladybug Calendar 2019

Ah so here we are! For the third year in a row MLCalendarProject has produced a NEW fantastic calendar for you guys to enjoy! Every month features another artist with a unique style who has created a themed piece to match the time of year, each complete with a custom grid and design layout! Get your amazing spring, summer, fall, winter vibes featuring you favorite characters as they too navigate the year. 

As were the rules last year, and the year before, the calendar is absolutely free to download and you are welcome to print out the pages or have your own calendar made for you to enjoy!! Butunder no circumstances is the art provided in this project allowed to be reposted, redistributed or used in any way without the artists permission. We did this for free and for fun to have something to share with the fandom, so please respect our artists accordingly! You will find all their usernames and credits inside the calendar, so if you love a piece please give them a follow! In order of appearance our epic team this year:

Next Redesign is Alya, Rena Rouge and Rena Furtive

I think Alya’s canon design is honestly okay, just really outdated. She needed a little push into the present.
An awesome fact about Alya that’s never mentioned in the show is that she’s martiniquan creole-french. I wanted her Rena Rouge hair to reflect her heritage more. I feel a little big brained for making her fox ears be a part of the headband.

Other than that I wanted her to have a more interesting silhouette, with her twin fox tails matching Ladybug’s wings. I like that matching best friend dynamic. Outside of that Rena Rouge is already a really strong design, she just needed a little updating.

Rena Furtive confuses me. To blend in and be stealthy in Paris, she picks blue camouflage? What?
Camo is to blend in with nature, like leaves, which you don’t really find in Paris. And blue? To blend in with the sky? Idk but Paris buildings are usually various shades of grey.
Silver Fox Alya was RIGHT THERE and they missed it. So Rena Furtif is a silver fox now. And I gave her black “trousers” to make her look like a secret agent. I wonder if Trixx turns grey to match this form too? Hmmm

Day three first fashion show

This is based of @miraculous-content ladybugout au that I love Luka gets the fox miraculous but eventually gets the cat miraculous so I thought this would be a really cool way for him to show marrinette the transition between the two so she knows that it’s still him she may not know him under the mask but she’s not lost her new friend he’s just become her new partner

I think holographic paint goes well with Rena Furtive’s new look.

ETA: I got a comment that said Alya appears white. I did use a darker color for the skin tone, but apologies that she still appears white I’ll do better next time!
