Rose Hathaway drunk off her ass, actively worrying about splitting her head open in the hotspring pools…really just jumped between two equally drunk moroi men about to fight it out while I sit here like:

*sigh* looks like it’s time to reread the ACOTAR series again…

Rereading the Harry Potter books.

Chap 1 of book 1:

- knowing what I do about the statute of secrecy, the day after Voldemort vanished, I can’t help but feel bad for the people in charge of hiding magic. Shooting stars, owls everywhere, and a ton of people wearing cloaks. Makes me wonder just how much magic happened that was covered up if that’s what wasn’t covered up.

- its mentioned that the Voldemort vanished “last night”. That McGonagall was watching the Dursleys all day, but where the fun was Harry during the nearly 24 hours of celebration????

- how is it that EVERYONE knows that Voldemort is gone and that he failed to kill Harry? The house was under a fidelius so people didn’t just see the murders. Maybe Harry wasn’t even the target and Voldemort left him alive because he was a baby? Who decided that Voldemort vanished because of Harry? Who was it that decided that it was even Voldemort that killed the Potters anyway? Maybe Peter did it and he lost his nerve when it came to Harry. The Death Eaters wouldn’t have said anything, because who the hell would ever admit their Supreme leader was too weak to kill a baby?

-Hagrid told McGonagall that he was going to the Dursleys. But when did he do this? Before or after he had Harry?

-timeline makes no sense. No sense at all.

- how the fuck does Dumbkedore know that Harry’s scar was caused by voldemort and not by something else???!!

-never once did McGonagall say “they’re the worst sorts of muggles imaginable”

- just how did the rumors even fucking start?!?
