Dorian: Would love pop music. Like One Direction, Shawn Mendes, the top 40? All his jam. I also think he would be the kinda guy to be constantly singing Tik Tok songs annoying the hell out of his friends.

Rowan: He would love RnB. All the relaxing vibes would help him keep his cool around Aelin. I feel like he would like Khalid a lot and I’m not just saying that because he’s the only RnB artist I know lol.

Aelin: She would definitely listen to Doja Cat and Megan thee Stallion. It’s Girl Boss music and she is the girl boss. I also get the vibe she would enjoy listening to Queen. I don’t know why, but I think it fits her vibe.

Chaol: He would probably listen to Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots. He would also say he hated Dorians music, but would secretly love jamming out to One Direction because lets be honest that shit slaps.

Aedion: Definitely a classic rock guy. Journey, AC/DC, and Van Halen would all be up his ally. Maybe even some Billy Joel. And we all know Aelin would force him to listen to her music so he would secretly have a playlist of the songs he likes.

Lysandra: Harry Styles. Her favourite album would probably be fine line with the self titled album as a close second. She would also enjoy some Coldplay, more than likely their earlier stuff.

Manon: She would listen to Panic at the Disco. Not High Hopes, while she would like it, her favourite era would be I write Sins not Tragedies. Billie Eilish would also be her jam, especially her newer stuff.

This is an ask for my fav ACOTAR/ToG fanfic writers who have seen Gilmore Girls!

Grumpy Lorcan and Elide always reminded me of Luke and Lorlai from Gilmore girls. Can one of you lovely fanfic writers write a fic where everyone thinks Lorcan is a jerk cause he is a bit of a loner and keeps to himself. But Elide worms her way into his seemingly cold heart and realizes that he’s the one that is doing random nice things around town (like fixing broken mailboxes and fence posts and helping old ladies with their groceries) when nobody is looking? Maybe even has done nice things for Aelin and co’s family without them knowing? It’s a small town, after all.

Can also loosely be based of this, put your own spin on it! Its just something that’s been in my head but I am not even close to being able to write as well as all you guys!

I kinda think that that is where @shyvioletcat​ might go in his/her Light The Sparksfic(Elide and that bus stop without the awnings that casually she told Lorcan about) but I could be off the mark on that! If I am, @shyvioletcat​ hint hintttttttt. :D

Currently rereading every single Sarah j Maas book so I’m refreshed and caught up entirely when I finally read A Court of Silver Flames

Rereading Heir of Fire and read the first time Manon says “from now until darkness claims us” let’s just say I’m in tears. Had to close the book and put it down, I need a moment.

This is a little project I’ve been working on as an acotar/tog crossover. I thought I’d give you guys a sneak peek for if I ever decide to post the full thing. Anyway, you’ll never guess who Fenrys’ lover is. (Don’t tell me I’m weird if you figure it out)

Whimpering, Fenrys put a shield around himself that he knew would do no good, his body shivering as the house shivered. His ears rung with every crash, the grumble bouncing around in his head.

The bedroom door opened. He should have locked it. Should have left before this city of light was torn apart, cast into eternal darkness along with all the people within it. 

“Fenrys?” 

Fenrys squeezed his eyes shut as thunder sent the windows rattling.

Someone was in front of him. Kneeling there. She was using his lover’s voice, coaxing him out only to go for the throat in the next. He knew it. She’d done it before.

“Hey, what’s going on? Fenrys. Look at me.”

No. Because when he opened his eyes, it would be real. She’d take him, thrust him back into a nightmare of her own making.

“Puppy.Look at me.”

The pure command in that voice called to him, a shout in the dark. And that name. She didn’t know that name. Only those here, those in the City of Starlight, had ever called that name and only to one would he listen for it.

Quaking, he peeled open his eyes to find a man before him, hands hovering over his body. No. Not hovering. The faint glimmer of gold in the air told Fenrys his shield had worked. 

“There you are,” his lover breathed and the shadows around Fenrys tightened. “Can you put down this shield for me?”

Friendly reminder that Aelin technically started all of the antagonistic shit between her court and Lorcan. Lorcan didn’t do anything to her until after she almost got him killed by Valg and Wyrdhounds. And even then, when he got the better of her, he only wanted to make a deal with her and Rowan. He could have just threatened to kill her to get the Wyrd keys, but instead he offered to make a deal with them– a fair deal, giving them something that was truly valuable and did what he said it did. A deal which *he* adhered to and they lied about.

And the main reason Aelin hated him was for the fact he whipped Rowan on Maeve’s orders, despite knowing that the blood oath made it impossible to refuse and the fact that, when Rowan gets whipped Aelin describes both Gavriel and Lorcan as being blanked faced and pitiless, guessing to the fact that they had both delivered and received the same punishment before. (Which I’m sure Rowan had also been on the giving end of that punishment at one point or another).

We all know Sarah isn’t exactly the best when it comes to revealing her non-hetero characters sexualities, but at least we can say Aedion’s bisexuality wasn’t completely left field.
