I’ve played with so many Rococo paintings and done so many Rococo Belles over the year, but it’s actually the first time I’m putting her in the most famous Rococo portrait of them all. Maybe because it’s been done and redone ! But I wanted to do my own version after all. Complete with her very own pooch of course

1. A Very Fine French 19th/20th Century Belle Époque Gilt-Bronze and Patinated Bronze Figural Six-Light Chandelier, with frosted glass shades shaped as flower petals in the manner of René Lalique (French, 1860-1945), centered with a frosted edged-glass urn with a gilt-bronze rim and acorn finial all surmounted with three patinated bronze hovering cherubs, each supporting a pair of light-branches. Circa: Paris, 1900
2. A Fine French Belle Époque Rococo Style Gilt-Bronze and Frosted Glass Shades Nineteen Light Chandelier. The ornate gilt-bronze frame surmounted six upper scrolled candle arms with frosted glass shades in the form of burning flames centered with a larger single flame glass shade, all above the lower twelve scrolled candle arms with frosted glass shades in the form of flowers.
