I have started this blog shortly after the 2017 Trooping The Color and I have decide to shut it down unexpectedly after the 2019 TTC.

I have always been enchanted by Kate Middleton and the 2011 royal wedding was one of the best television moment of my life. So in the first months of blogging - my Kate period - I was fascinated by the world of edited images, gifs and photo challenges. People were friendly with each other and the discussions were always very articulate and polite.
It was mainly all fun and games until Meghan.
I was excited, overwhelmed, ready to support her as a woman and as a new member of the royal family!
I remember clearly the fever abour her fashion, the tig, the new patronages and wedding speculation.
The wedding itself wasn’t as modern as I thought it would be but everyone was pretty happy about the cerimony.
Then, DRAMAS. Her father, her family, celebrities, spending thousand of dollars in ill fitting dresses, the awful babyshower, the speculation about the pregnancy, the hand holding or the belly touching. Everything about her is disgusting. She is obviously acting with her “oh I am so cute and down to earth” faces, but things are slipping throw her hands nowadays (the royal tour was a total mess).
Everything was so disturbing that I started to think about what mainly brought me in the royal fandom, Kate. I didn’t admire her anymore: she is just a privileged party girl who hasn’t worked a day in her life. Everyone plaude her when she dedicates one or two hours of her week to a charity, but can we compare that workload to a 9/5 job? Actually, it’s pretty insulting towards people who actually work their asses out during the day and, instead of resting at home, volunteer. And let me get this out: people are not interested in charities or social events, they only follow them to see what they wear, ready to criticize them for their figure and not giving a shut about their (lacking) education.
So goodbye for now, I am excited that in the 2020 we will have another royal wedding, James Middleton’s wedding and Cressida’s, but I’ll enjoy them just for what they truly are: a fashion parade.

There’s one thing I don’t get. You’re criticising Meghan for an immensely successful tour yet you spent the first Kate years enjoying yourself? She hardly worked even then! She wasn’t prepared when touring. She was never prepared. Besides, it was not all fun and games at the time. Kate fans were nasty to everyone who did not put her on a pedestal. They were not polite. They were not made me sugar and spice and everything nice. It might’ve seemed so to you, if you belonged to a select little group. Drama didn’t start with Meghan. Drama started because the tinhats reared their ugly heads and to be honest, the reasons you just gave for disliking Meghan? Saying everything about her is disgusting? You know what girl, you’re part of the problem.

Please remove Meghan’s pictures from your header. Thanks. And goodbye.

@evecolours I am truly sorry if my post did bother you, but I only want to underline that at the beginning of my Kate obsession I WAS BLIND. If I look back now, I can easly see that she barely worked even in those years. I didn’t mean to write an #antimeghan #prokate or #antikate #promeghan post, I just wanted to say that I am now disgusted by royalty and by their laziness, compared to real life people doing anonymously incredibile things.
