Three characters I made in vaguely-D&D while I was laid up with a cold the other day. Only one of them has… any reason to be an ‘adventurer’?
INTONECH FEG: noble heiress who used the cover of an imperial succession crisis to stage a Mulan-of-convenience situation in order to avoid a marriage and her assorted affairs with up-and-coming varyags; now plying her trade as a freelance vagabond.
ZOŚIT ZELL:exiled as a child and then adopted into a troll family, she inherited her parents’ sheep farm after her elder troll siblings left to become priests &c. Tries very hard to be a good troll; has lots of unaddressed trauma.
LAGMESH: autodidact magic-worker, unintentionally a prominent member of the local council thanks to their low tolerance for nonsense and their high tolerance for budgets and accounting (also magic).
