#rpgmaker vx ace
does anyone have some really nice looking title screen scripts for rpgmaker vx ace that are easy to use (I have little to no game coding experience)
I haven’t used these, so I’m not sure how awesome they are, but I found some links!:
- Holds animations + cursor animations.
- Allows images to be used instead of text commands.
- Allows for a splash movie to play before the title or after selecting “New Game”.
- And more!
- https://atelierrgss.wordpress.com/rgss3-custom-title-screen-stand-alone-scripts/ (It’s in Spanish; you can translate the page!)
- A series of scripts (standalone scripts) that work together to combine various effects!
- Such as: Multiple logos, particles, layers, magic circles, animated sprites, and sprite commands.
- Allows images to be used for title menu.
- Hides the default title menu.
- Customize: Name of your images, the space between New Game/Exit/Continue, opacity of Continue if disabled, move the menu anywhere on screen.
- This is a tutorial of sorts that tells you how to customize/change your title screen! It tells you how to change the font, the music, add fog effect, etc.!
I hope these help!
Originally I came here to announce that the demo will be published soon, with all the programming done and only needing to redraw the portraits and CG but…..seems there was a change of plans.
My pixel artist Iggi was forced to left because we never could find time to work together and she’s currently busy with commissions. It sucks because this is the second time a pixel artist ditches me (my first pixel artist wasn’t as kind though and after agreeing to help me, he never answered any messages and….okay, that’s enough)
It’s sad that things didn’t work out. I wish Iggi-senpai good luck in her projects. But I have to look forward and continue working on the demo.
So as it seems, the pixel art progress for the game is back into square one and I’m looking once again for a pixel artist.
Here’s the list of entrees so far! Those in red and orange won’t be considered! (remember you have to reblog this post+ be following the blog!)
Feel free to message us to let us know if you reblogged with a side-blog but are following!
I’m just starting to fly through these maps. I have an easier time getting indoors finished since repeating patterns aren’t as noticeable as repeating trees. I still won’t have it done by the end of this year, but that’s ok. Have a deer.
My internship will finish on a couple of weeks, so I can fully work on Claroscuro once I finish. Here’s the progress on the game for now.
Maps 100%

⚫ ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ ⚪Also, I’ve been thinking and I can start reworking on Expiatora after I publish the demo for Claroscuro. Then I can work on the completed Claroscuro once I publish the Expiatora demo. It’s kinda frustrating how it’s been 3 years working on it and still no demo…U_U
Btw, there’s another place where I post doodles and dev updates of Expiatora and Claroscuro. You can also find things that weren’t posted in the dev blogs!
Hey there. Just wanting to annouce that Expiatora will be on hiatus from now on. But the reason it’s because I’m working on a secret project.
All I can say is that it’s a very short game and it will be a prequelto Expiatora. Don’t worry, I’ll be resuming the game as soon as I finish. Fortunately I’ve learned a lot about sprites, maps and programming thanks to these years working on Expiatora, so I’m confident the developing will not take much time.
I’ll post more about this secret project later. Ximsol out!
