#progress update
I just finished writing the first Patreon-exclusive Twine short story—Sky’s Special Mission—and I simply can’t wait to hear what you think about it. It’s about 4.000 words, and it will give you insight into what happened to Sky and Odyss before they found you in the prologue of The Hidden Sanctum.
MyPatreonlaunches on April 1st (in two days), and you’ll be able to find this story, as well as many other things, there.
As for the updatefor The Hidden Sanctum demo, it’s about 25.000 words long, excluding code, and it will be uploaded tomorrow! It will add events for four of the five paths. The Ice path event is coming at the beginning of April!

Sorry for being a few days late, but I’m here to give you an update on how everything is going. I wanted to post this on Saturday, but I was really tired, and…well, here we are.
As of today, I have already managed to write the first 10.500 words of Chapter 6, which puts the game at around 264.000 words. The game has also reached ca. 100.000 words per playthrough!
Remember that you can get access to Chapters 5 and 6 (as well as to a looot of other things) through Patreon.
Speaking of Patreon, there’s a new Twine short story coming, and it’ll be out on Monday or Tuesday. You can actually vote on what this very short story will be about in the newest poll!

My first animation was a ball bounce, and this is what I’ve been making over the last 2 days. I know that it isn’t perfect, but it’s a lot of progress from what I made starting out

Thank you all so much for being patient, truthfully for the next couple months my focus will be on my Senior Thesis. You might be thinking that I haven’t kept my promise, or wonder where the rise of the guardians tv series went, and I’m there too. I think about it constantly, and worry perhaps more than I should regarding how to go about it. That is why for my thesis I am practicing, if you will, with another story, one of my own creation, and going through the process of making characters, to the backgrounds, to the animatic. I want so badly just to jump in head first with guardians, but at the same time know It would be premature and not as professional as I want it to be, as well as what fans and newcomers of the fandom alike deserve in a guardians series.
That being said, there are still surprises in store that I hope will suffice till then.

Except ain’t nobody take me out of it that easily (like in gif)
It’s(not surprisingly) difficult to get substantial progress done with only small patches of time during the week after work when I’m too exhausted and stressed out to deal with anything, let alone what’s supposed to be “passion” project. And by the weekend I’m just SO done, I need to take a break.
With that said I did, get something done, though not as much as I hoped I would. The main reason I’m having such hard time getting this new version of animatik off the ground is that I haven’t decided what my objectives for it are.
When I said I want to “tighten it up” visually, I accidentally put too big expectations of how close to the final I want it to look, which took me away from what should actually be the point which is acting and base sound design, not backgrounds.
Seeing as they are based on actual location, I’m already familiar with what I want in it. I can get away with just written notes for now. I don’t really need to come up with anything “new”, just find the best way to interpret it, and to me that’s….Not as important right now xD
Another thing this animatik is supposed to do is help me figure out techniques and ways in which I will put together the final product — final compositing. Which I plan to do either in DaVinci 15orBlender. I have feeling I might pick up Blender much faster, but DaVinci may be more suited for my needs?
And also, I may be bit masochistic, because I started trying to figure out logic behind node system in fusion, and by brain is melting through my ears and I love it xD
I findCasey Faris channel to be very informative when it comes to DaVinci resolve 15 and Skyline Motions has some neat tutorials. His accent may be confusing at times and he goes fast and doesn’t really explain often why he does certain things, but if you follow along (he does leave resources for that) surely you can pick up the logic behind it as you go. In fact, that’s one of his tutorials on the left monitor that was closest to what I need in the workflow I remember from my animatic-making days in After Efects.
And this tutorial from Casey really helped me understand the logic behind nodes better. You really can explain everything with cookies
Other than that I scribbled some character designs on my breaks at work, again, no special stylization in mind. Probably some generic-ish anime, perhaps bit more cartoony, idk, we’ll see.
My strategy (lol “strategy”) for nextweek is to get up few hours earlier before work and get stuff done then, but that’s a tall order since I sure do love my sleep hahah…But I’ll still try.

And then you slept like the dead.
A true and proper cock sculpt is underway. Next step is going to be figuring out all the thousands of extra steps I need to texture it and bone map it and get it working, but it’s a sign of true progress and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll put out a few more renders with the member you’re used to seeing Kayla sporting, but I’m wagering it’s only a matter of time before the change is made.
Wow, so this blog is really taking off. Thanks for the support, everyone :) It’s been a little quiet the last few days so I’m giving you an update on what I’m doing right now. Should be a lot of new content soon.
So I got my GTX 970 in and got it up and running without a hitch, churned out a few funky test renders in mere moments. I think I can start producing full HD renders comfortably now, so that’s good. But at the same time, I’m hitting a few technical constraints that are forcing me to re-evaluate what I’m doing.
I’m going to be covering a large part of what I’m currently going through in the next installment of my journal on A3D so I don’t want to give away too much, but it mainly centers around the decision whether or not to continue using Victoria 4. Back in February when I was just starting out, I opted for V4 because of the sheer volume of content available for her, not really appreciating the fact that DAZ offers V4 to G2F conversion tools. The result is that I’ve been spending a lot of time working with V4 content and ignoring G2 entirely, thinking it was either one or the other.
Technically, there’s no real drawback to V4 just yet, in the sense that I can definitely use her to produce some pretty good looking girls as you’ve seen. But now that I’m exploring Zbrush and looking at how well it translates to DAZ Studio’s inherent Genesis and Genesis 2 line, I realise that for an optimal workflow I really have to commit to G2 after all. I’m kind of eager to do so, because there’s a lot of amazing G2 content out there that so far I’ve been ignoring.
So on one hand I’ve been working with Zbrush, on the other I’ve been realising that for the best integration of Zbrush character adjustment with DAZ Studio, I really need to use Genesis 2. In the most practical sense, this means I can finally start working on futa content with the quality I’ve been striving for, though I do also want to make a few girl-on-girl, no dicks involved renders.
I’m making the necessary investments tonight, and then I hope to be posting shiny renders again as early as tomorrow :)
My internship will finish on a couple of weeks, so I can fully work on Claroscuro once I finish. Here’s the progress on the game for now.
