The year is 1821. Nikanor finds himself at the bottom of a cliff and no memory of how he ended up there. Also his mother is nowhere to be seen and his house is not quite how he remembers it. Confused and determined to be reunited with his disappeared mother, Nikanor is forced to venture through the ethereal dreamscapes inside his house.
Will things ever go back to how they used to be?

Alright, the final demo is here. Instead of the same demo with bug fixes or new portraits, I’ve extended it with more content to make it more interesting. More maps, more puzzles and more Amarant being annoying!
Just a polished version of the old demo with more content!

Congrats on the new demo, Ximsol~!! And thank you for letting me beta test it! >w</
I highly recommend checking out the extended demo for Claroscuro! The atmosphere is really foreboding and eerie, and the art is super cute!

Your work looks amazing as always! I highly recommend checking out Claroscuro if you’re into horror games with fairy tale motifs!

Also, I’ve been thinking and I can start reworking on Expiatora after I publish the demo for Claroscuro. Then I can work on the completed Claroscuro once I publish the Expiatora demo. It’s kinda frustrating how it’s been 3 years working on it and still no demo…U_U
Btw, there’s another place where I post doodles and dev updates of Expiatora and Claroscuro. You can also find things that weren’t posted in the dev blogs!
You’re my most important treasure….. You’re all I have left…. But….I can’t leave you alone…. …..I can’t let you suffer…. That’s why…please….

Claroscuro is an RPGMaker adventure/horror game.
Surprise, surprise! This is the secret project I’ve been working for these past months. It’s a short game called Claroscuro, which is more-or-less a prequel of Expiatora.
Ah, just so you know, the demo is 70% done. It will be shorter than Expiatora in comparison.
