As excited as I am for the Renora reunion, I’m really looking forward to the Oscar and Nora reunion.
Oscar seeing Nora bandaged and scarred. Nora seeing Oscar beaten, bloodied, and bruised. And each of them looking at the other and thinking ‘what happened, it’s only been about 10 hours. How did this happen to you?’.
I just really love the Nora-Oscar dynamic. Nora’s always been so protective towards Oscar, she loves him to death. And Oscar is used to her being so loud, proud, and energetic, and seeing her like this is going to be such a shock to him, and I’m honestly looking forward to that interaction so much
One thing of Note in Ironwood’s ransom note speech is that he says “I’ve always promised to defend this kingdom. It’s technology. It’s future.” but one thing he notably leaves out it… It’s people. You could say that’s included in kingdom and future but, I don’t think it is. Ironwood sees the kingdom as a Thing, and the people just live in it. The kingdom is it’s land. It’s technology. People will come and go but Atlas will persist. It’s not The People that matter to him, it’s the Kingdom and it’s Technology. As long as Atlas persists, nothing else matters, or ever has.

I can’t believe I’m seeing people trying to defend Harriet after she snitched on Winter because Winter pulled rank on her a few episodes back.
One: Winter had a right to do that because technically she does.
Two: It was the right call because our main characters were able to save their friend Oscar.
Harriet and the other Aceops are continuing to be fascist bootlickers.
Don’t give me this crap about Harriet has no obligation to cover for Winter. Harriet and the Aceops witnessed General Ironwood shoot a fucking civilian for questioning him
Now Harriet has put Winter at risk because she let Team RWBY and friends go (again right fucking call)
At this point its not so much about loyalty to Ironwood but ego because Harriet more than the rest of the Aceops can’t stand that she got bested by Team RWBY.
What’s ironic is that Harriet used Winter’s near fatal run-in with Cinder as a means of blaming Penny. Clearly she doesn’t care about Winter since she’s now put her at risk
WAIT GUYS THEORY: RIGHT YOU KNOW HOW THE ARTIFACT THAT HOLDS UP ATLAS IS ABOUT IMMORTALITY RIGHT… WHAT IF IRONWOOD BECOMES IMMORTAL BUT HAS A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH LIKE IDK,,, BEING STUCK UNDER THE FALLEN ATLAS HAVING TO “HOLD” IT UP FOR ALL ETERNITY
The Staff of Creation is an energy source. It’s not about immortality. If anything Creation is the ENEMY of immortality, which as a form of stasis denies the cycle that Creation is a part of.
