A RWBY character gets a seat on the list AGAIN? yes RWBY characters have been requested over and over and if I weren’t so picky while filtering all the suggestions, this list would ALL RWBY characters, (really, I’m not kidding RWBY characters get requested so much, that at this point we could even have a genderbent waifu Ozpin by now!), for now this little lady will be the last one on a list for now.
Ahhh Neopolitan, were do I start? her looks? her skills? the MANY talents she possesses? well, guess it’s gonna be the obvious one…
You already know Pyrrah is my top lady from RWBY, but I think is safe to say that Neo is really not very far from her, why? what do these 2 ladies have in comon? is it… the obvious sex-appeal? the boundless affection and loyalty they show towards their significant other? or is it… the tremendous potential they have? let’s go with that last one.
Neo is by far my favorite lady in the battlefield and the reason is quite simple, on her league she is the BEST simple as that, not only she can single-handedly beat Yang on one on one combat, she can best Ruby with no effort, (and no, it doesn’t count as victory for Ruby when she is blown away with her parasol by the winds, Ruby had luck to not have her rear even more red from the sp@nk!ng Neo was delivering) hell! she went mano a mano with Cinder and FORCED her to go maiden mode, and let’s not forget how she went for the foursome and r@p3d everyone from team JNR managing, outmaneuvering and outskilling Jaune, Nora and Ren at the same time, just delicious!. also truly remarkable is that Neo’s battle style isn’t the most flashy but rather more effective and focused on pure physical combat, (which paradoxically ends up being another kind of flashy/eye candy style) her semblance: Overactive Imagination, is more a deceive and escape resource for her, unlike other characters that rely heavily on semblances to fight (like Yang) she relies almost completely on herself, no dust or even firearms.
But Neo’s capabilities for combat don’t stop there, she even recognizes when an opponent is way out of her league, which may not seem like much, but it IS a big deal, bitting more than you can chew is a BIG problem for amateurs *cough* Ruby *cough* and Ms. Neopolitan is no amateur, she is a professional, and we can notice it even outside battle, she can steal, deceive, perceive weaknesses and find weak spots with stunning speed, her success rate on missions is very high and to complete the professional skill set, she can even act as your getaway driver using her semblance in the process to cover as much as an ENTIRE ship to fool anyone who crosses paths with her and her allies.
For the cherry on top, this tiny lady has enough intellect to do something that some characters in RWBY simply never do, she GROWS from battle to battle, why do I say this? just watch her battles, it’s true Neo is playful on early fights, she dances around, taunts her foes, mocking them whenever she has the chance and that’s fine it’s part of her style, but she goes on and on to the point of just draging the fight for too long instead of finishing them off quickly, on later fights, as she progresses she still smiles and plays, BUT dispatches her targets in a much quicker and effective manner, she learns from her mistakes and that says a lot about her.
But I guess it’s already too much text, *ahem* so I’m gonna close with the changes I made.
Neo has that lovely and classy victorian air about her and outfit, kept that as much as possible but with a touch of extra spice, the way she bows, smiles and some gestures in general she does in and outside battle make me think of a dancer, a lady of the spolight, an entertainer, that’s why I chose to get rid of the pants (also obviously for the extra sexy factor) and as usual made her weapon: Hush, bigger and thiccer with a nice new and fresh pattern all over it, hope you like it!
