Este fin de semana os dejo con el curioso origen de una de las comidas más populares: elsandwich. El célebre emparedado nació en el siglo XVIII en una mesa de juego. John Montague IV, conde de Sandwich, sentía un gran fastidio cuando tenía que interrumpir la gran pasión de su vida, las partidas de cartas, porque los otros jugadores tenían hambre y querían irse a comer. Por eso, le pidió a su cocinero que les preparara algo que pudieran tomar en la mesa sin necesidad de interrumpir el juego. El chef les trajo un poco de carne acompañada por unas rebanadas de pan.
