Felt like doing a little photo shoot for myself today, under the benevolent eye of the Green Man. Tired, hungover, but feeling myself and really feeling good about looking gender neutral.
One of the hurdles I’ve had to work on mentally with my gender identity is figuring out how to look/feel sexy while neutral. I know how to do girl-sexy and have some small success doing man-sexy but it can be really hard for me to picture someone else finding my androgyny sexy and hard for me to figure out how to work on feeling sexy in it. It may have something to do with how I feel most attractive when I’m dressed up and dress clothes are so very gendered. Makes for quite a number of anxious outfit changes before I go out.
It’s hard work, but I hope you are all being kind to your bodies and spirits today. Your beauty only shines brighter when you do.
