My “Frankensteined” poster just debuted over at @slashfilm, my new officially licensed Universal Monsters screen print for @bottleneckgallery and @vicepressnews. The regular version is a nine-color, 24” x 36” screen-print, masterfully printed by @thehalfandhalf. The variant edition is four-colors and glows in the dark (third image). I’m super excited about this one, as my favorite things ever are monsters and horror. Pumped that I finally got to work on @officialuniversalmonsters. This was meant to be the follow up to my TMNT 2 poster I did for @bottleneckgallery a while back, but I ended up killing this one after sitting on it for a bit. I tried using the same composition technique for it so they could hang together, but I just couldn’t get it to work, and ultimately wasn’t happy with the finished product. There were a bunch of sketches where I tried some different perspectives (swipe ➡️), but none of them really worked to be honest.
