PSA: If you’re not watching Motherland: Fort Salem (on Freeform in the US), I highly recommend.
The series follows 3 witches entering military training camp in Fort Salem. Because there is a WITCH MILITARY & it is steeped in tradition & it is awesome.
The cast is diverse, super talented, and ridiculously good looking in uniform.
The lead character is a lesbian who kicks serious ass.
Also she has a love interest starting in EPISODE 1 & the gf has her own interesting backstory/plot lines.
A collection of names lurking on Tumblr that caught my interest, and could be used for fantasy, and ones that I made up on the spot. Sue me. Names for all letters except b and y because why not
i had to look up this word that rosette says when she’s braiding chrono’s hair in act 9. i thought the multiple meanings were interesting, because i’ve only ever read this translated as “it’s irritating” (or “it gets in your way”)
She said “Damn bitch, you live like this?”
yeah
This is hands down the funniest shit I’ve ever seen
Hot take: viciously defending your blorbo against any offence to them that you perceive is not actually a requirement to be a fan, nor does it make anyone morally superior. It’s fine to just… like blorbo and enjoy them.
Important addition: enjoying something in some capacity doesn’t equal viciously defending everything it stands for.
What exactly ABOUT Jaune Arc is suppose to be wish fulfillment or self insert or a Mary Sue?
Jaune’s not incredibly strong. He’s not particularly smart. He’s not noted to be handsome or even attractive. He’s not suave.
What wish is he suppose to fill? The guy who gets beat around by life? That’s fucking sad.
As for self insert: What does Jaune even have in common with Miles?
What little I could tell, they only share a tendency to be awkwardly charming in social situations, wear female clothing and have self respect issues. One of which is a joke, the other has all but disappeared from Jaune as a person and the other is something people hate. Again, sad.
And as for Gary Stu: Jaune has no special talents aside from a notable amount of aura. … that’s it. He’s not particularly skilled in combat, he’s not good with people, he doesn’t make friends where ever he goes. he doesn’t change people’s personalities around him, he certainly isn’t flawless and has definitive flaws that harm him as a person.
I just cannot see what people think is so outlandish about a character explictedly made to be normal.
that episode was absolutely brutal and i have roused myself from lying on the ground being shook to saying that music was an absolute bop like actually though, this abomination though….geez…and the flamebright pendant….i’m shook
I feel like I hallucinated that entire episode what the heckk griffin

I freaking love this scene. It shows why I can’t stand Feyre at all! Her sister is telling her how uncomfortable she feels, how she needs them to leave. And Feyre dismisses it like 3 times. She doesn’t believe Nesta untill Cassian starts taking her seriously. She doubted her te whole time Come on Feyre, she deserves better. You treat her like Tamlin treated you. Very bad, very, very bad.
