I participated in the first round of MFD last year and it may have been the most fun I’ve ever had with a fandom event. No pressure, no expectations, just a pile of people doodling their hearts out and encouraging each other. Everything from hand-drawn stick figures (yes really) to digital paintings, for dozens of fandoms AND just a lot of random stuff (check out the “Original Works” section, we had everything from drawing a bunch of adorable, round birds to original superhero designs).
Don’t like drawing people? Plenty of opportunities to draw animals! Or settings, or even objects (everything from magical girl weaponry to the contents of someone’s backpack)!
It has the best, most enthusiastic and feel-good, snobbery-free vibe. Come play with us. I swear you won’t regret it.
(Last round I drew 4 treats, in addition to my assignment. Planning to beat that number this round - we’ll see!)

Players are given a list of tropes/tags that can be found in Drarry fanworks, and this is given in the form of a card deck. Throughout the course of the game, players comment on fanworks with these tropes/tags, and they also rec them to share love to all of our creators in the Drarry fandom. Wizards Hearts players thoroughly enjoyed this game/fest in 2020, and we’ve brought it back based on popular demand!

The Owlery has finished renovations for the new year, and the postmasters invite you to once again join the Owlery Exchange! This year’s edition: To Days To Come.
❓ How does it work ❓
You will take on the character of either Harry OR Draco, and exchange letters with an anonymous partner taking on the role opposite to you, hopefully creating a wonderful collaborative epistolary-format story. Your Owlery postmasters will take into account your likes, your triggers, and your preferred writing and length of letters and match you with a partner, to write for either the course of 6 or 10 weeks, depending on your preference.
❓ What are the guidelines ❓
The one hard and fast rule is obvious: IT MUST BE DRARRY.
The other important rule: You may not reveal yourself to your partner until after all of your letters have been exchange (or at least the minimum as asked by the postmasters). After your last letter in the sequence is sent, your postmasters will conduct reveals for you.
You may write as little or as much as you feel inclined to per letter, however when signing up, we ask you to consider what you expect your average word count can be, so as to match you to a partner with similar wants.
❓ What are the prerequisites to participate ❓
The only prerequisite is that you must be 18 years or older to participate. You do not need to have work posted publicly before the game/fest begins. You only need your imagination and a love of Drarry!
❓ Can I post my letters ❓
Sure, absolutely! After reveals, you and your partner will be given a document where the mods have compiled your letters with one another, and you will be able to put your heads together to nitpick, edit, and format before working out a posting schedule.
