<3 these two. Yeah, I know they’re married now and all the ‘mechanics’ of their relationship have been figured out, but I’m not there yet! I’m still back in the 90s.
Also, yes…more messy sketc lines. At this point I’m just going to call it a stylistic choice, because it sounds better than admitting laziness.
I participated in the first round of MFD last year and it may have been the most fun I’ve ever had with a fandom event. No pressure, no expectations, just a pile of people doodling their hearts out and encouraging each other. Everything from hand-drawn stick figures (yes really) to digital paintings, for dozens of fandoms AND just a lot of random stuff (check out the “Original Works” section, we had everything from drawing a bunch of adorable, round birds to original superhero designs).
Don’t like drawing people? Plenty of opportunities to draw animals! Or settings, or even objects (everything from magical girl weaponry to the contents of someone’s backpack)!
It has the best, most enthusiastic and feel-good, snobbery-free vibe. Come play with us. I swear you won’t regret it.
(Last round I drew 4 treats, in addition to my assignment. Planning to beat that number this round - we’ll see!)
Last week we have been reviewing the pre-order status, crunching the numbers, thinking about the plans and goals we had set. We have come to the conclusion that sadly we did not reach our goal for merch production. The numbers were too low, if we were to make them we would be losing money. Money that was meant to go to charity.
We have decided to extend pre-orders for one week and hopefully get some more orders in to support production. Besides this we have decided to postpone the release of the digital PDF which will be emailed on January 3rd 2022 instead.
And to make things a bit more interesting… if we reach 90 orders we will host a giveaway for a full bundle! We are only 30 orders away from this goal and anyone can enter!
