yes reki has to apologize to miya for breaking his promise and not being a good friend but miya also has to realize that his teasing contributed to reki’s declining self-worth. hes 13 so its understandable that he doesnt realize it but like. there should still be some acknowledgment of his and shadow’s behaviour not being okay. tbh im not even hoping for an apology, id be happy if they for once just told reki to his face that he’s good at skateboarding without insulting him
reki will skate against adam again. he’ll lose but 1) he’ll have fun skating again 2) it’ll be a close race 3) adam will be incredibly mad and frustrated bc reki won’t be hurt, afraid or upset that he lost by the end of it
final race will be adam vs. snake, tadashi will win.
now for maybe slightly more wishful predictions:
reki will apologize to miya and miya and shadow will apologize to reki for teasing him and making him feel less than them (even though they didn’t mean to)
adam will go to jail courtesy of the redheaded lesbian

why did tadashi take reki to a love hotel???? me and my friend thought it was adam at first and starting screaming in horror but it was tadashi. WHY???
my wife suggested that it probably was the closest place that would let him carry an unconscious person inside no questions asked
notice that it wasn’t just random strangers that belittled reki, but also his actual friends. like miya and shadow clearly care about him and were just teasing him but to reki it was his friends validating all his insecurities and fears.
no cuz do you think miya hangs out at joe’s restaurant because he has no friends in school, lost reki, and wants to avoid his parents? and joe just allows it because ever since kaoru got stuck in the hospital the restaurant feels so empty without him. and miya just reminds him so much of kaoru??? hello????????? found family my beloved??????? miya and joe being each other’s stability in a father-son way????
