#snake man

LIVE

I drew this today. No Facebook, no Instagram and no Whatsapp for one day was really cool, it was very apocalyptic, in a good way (?)

I drew him being freed from his lamp before, but up till now not when he’s using the magic from it~

a shame he doesn’t like granting wishes. it does make him look sexy.

please tell me you see the cobra hood I thought that was clever of me

doctaskull:

Today was…ordinary, really.
You can’t expect much action to happen within the walls of Light Labs.

The sky was clear and it was summer on Megacity, everything ran as as smoothly and calm as usual for the ones in the Labs.

All except one man in particular:

Dr Albert W. Wily - ever infamous roboticist who attempted to conquer the world years ago.

Ever since his definitive imprisonment, he was sentenced to house arrest - at Light Labs where he’d be of more use.

“Just amazing, attempt number 78 - FAILURE.”

The oldman said as he wrote down a report on his current experiments - so far the Double-Gear system only resulted in Joes exploding or having their circuits non-figuratively cooked into fine paste.

He was honestly growing tired of this all, but what could he do?

titaniumthamnophid:

For every time he startled Wily like this, Snake would end up snickering just a bit.  How he reacted to it was always just a bit humorous.  “Writing down known issues isn’t a bad idea, either.”  It certainly worked for knowing where to come back to later.  “But sometimes you just need to employ other methods to fill in the gaps.  I just happened to stumble upon the rubber ducky thing when browing the ‘net for interesting things.”

The green ‘bot looked for a place to sit, and soon took a moment to begin explaining the technique. “It might sound a bit ridiculous, but it seems to work for finding errors you’ve overlooked or just not noticed.  Basically, you take something like a rubber ducky, and you just… read off and explain your code to the ducky line by line.  It’s believed that by explaining what something does, you’ll realize when it doesn’t do that particular thing and find mistakes.  You can use any common object, or even a pet for this, so you don’t have to drag someone away from something else.” That didn’t mean Snake wouldn’t sit and let him go on for an hour, though - even if he didn’t understand every bit of how something worked, it wasn’t a bad thing to get insight into whatever Wily’s current projects were.

“Uhmm, explaining it to someone else…”

Wily pondered on the technique, he didn’t think about doing that…ever.
He was always somewhat of a loner when it came to work, in a way.

“You know what? That might just be what I need!”

A snap of fingers accompanied the exclamation - Snake got Wily’s interest!

“…say, what if I explained it to you? If you won’t mind, it’s not like I get many visitors either way, I won’t mind some small talk either.”

One of my top favorite master robots in the series
