wow, it’s been so long. the last time i posted on here was probably fall 2016–a lot has happened since then. i successfully finished my freshman year at brown university, and i’m about to head back for sophomore year !! (i’m rooming with @chaifuelled – in a frat house of all places)
i wanted to take some time off to make sure i was ready for the transition to college, but i really want to get back into the studyblr game. i’ve been planning posts all summer and i can’t wait to share with you all.

Hey guys. I know I haven’t written anything lately. Between my dog passing and an anon asking me to stop tagging them in things (like I know their handle and can just remove it), I haven’t felt great. My non existant confidence took a hit and my heart was broken.
Luckily, somehow, I have fought through it to finally write something solid and semi presentable to my peers.
I hope you guys are ready. The games are about to begin, and I mean that literally. That choose your own adventure game is about come to life and we’re starting it off with a fun one:

I’m also little nervous to write for Dave, I love his character but tend to read very little as my pops is also called Dave. Be prepared, darlings, If ya’ll start writing smut, I’m gonna have to 180 your fic and steer it away .
I’ve come to realize that I just really enjoy listening to others speak about their relationships with The Divine regardless of which divine being they worship.
One of my coworkers is Christian and I am always so moved by the way she talks about God. Her faith in his guidance and her gratitude for his love inspire me greatly.
And just before I attended a class about Bealtaine and one of the presenters was speaking about his relationship with The Dagda. His words brought me to tears because I could feel his pure devotion for his deity. It was beautiful and touched my heart profoundly.
Moments like these serve to remind me that though we worship different divinities and have differing spiritual beliefs, we don’t have to automatically be at war with one another. We can not only coexist but we can positively influence and inspire one another in our spiritual practices. We just have to be open to it and find the common ground that is humanity’s desire to connect with The Divine.

Of course, it’s a Wonder Woman one, no surprises there. My heart is truly full. Ever since I was a little girl I aspired to be a published writer and even dreamed of pursuing entertainment journalism. I often got made to feel like this ambition of mine was something I’d never achieve, so I can’t even begin to describe how proud I feel of myself right now.

Origami gift giving: slots open – Fanfic Writer Appreciation Day (21 Aug)
Hello! I know it’s just May, but from my experience with the origami advent last year + cos of uni stuff, I learned it was indeed a good idea to announce and open a project like this early. So, I’m doing it again. Thanks to @fantalfand@samyistrying for your support and helping me sort all this out, and to @andithieland@makeitp1nk for your encouragement
What?
I’ll be folding one origami book each for fanfic writers who you’d like to show appreciation to! Customised based on their likes, personalities, and even things/vibes related to their fics. The books will also be filled with handwritten quotes from some of their works. You can submit (a) fic rec(s) and/or message that you have for the writer, and I’ll post it along with the previously mentioned gifts. Examples of how the compilation into one post was done for the advent last year are here.
Who?
I’d love to spread appreciation for as many writers as possible through my projects, so I’ll be opening giftee entries to those who weren’t giftees in the origami advent. The list of the advent’s giftees is here! Just to clarify, those who were gifters in last year’s advent can either still be gifter again or be nominated as giftees for this new project And of course, advent giftees can still book slots to be gifters for this new project.
I’ll be capping the recipients at 10 people.
