Hey guys, does anyone remember the Sonic storybook games? If you guys don’t know, the storybook games are Sonic the Hedgehog titles that embody elements of actual established stories. Examples being Sonic and the Secret Rings which went through the 101 Arabian Nights.

Also Sonic and the Black Knight which centers around the tale of King Arthur.

So, if they make another storybook game, you know what would be a good one to do next? Journey To The West!

This tale being one of the most popular and influential in China. It centers around a Buddhist Monk and his disciples on a journey to India in search for holy scriptures. Of course, people learn about it through one of its more memorable characters, Sun Wukong the Monkey King.

Trust me when I say that a majority of people learn about this story via the Monkey King. I’d being lying if I say I didn’t either.

Anywho back onto the topic at hand, Sonic the Hedgehog videogame with focus on Journey To The West! Now how does our Blue Blur end up in this magical situation?

In the previous games, he was actually summoned to help but in my opinion a different route could be better. Demons tend to mess with powerful magic in search of power or immortality so why not have one stir up trouble using a forbidden magic?

Sonic is accidentally drawn into the book world through this spell along with other things that don’t belong. Another issue is that our hedgehog is literally on his own. No alternate book version of his companions or any real allies from his world. It’s only him and the Journey To The West crew who end up finding him.

This spell only brings a lot of trouble for the group as now they have to face not only demons or other immortals but things from Sonic’s world that’s been pulled in as well. Bosses ranging from demon, heavenly, magical and mechanical which stands in their way of stopping the magic mayhem before things escalate further but also get our blue blur back home.

Doesn’t help that he looks off as I want a sort of Into the Spiderverse situation for appearances. The entire world looks more similar to Hero is Back or Monkey King Reborn graphic wise.

Gameplay wise, I think it should be a mix of open world platformer with the team mechanics from Sonic Heroes alongside the team attack skills from Sonic Chronicles and maybe some sections being a wild beat em up like in Sonic Unleashed.

Sonic has to work together with the JTTW crew to get through certain areas, bypass obstacles or defeat dangerous bosses that he normally couldn’t do on his own. Every member having a unique skill to help out.

Sonic’s super speed being able to get pass timed gates or sneak past guard spots. Sun Wukong having a climbing ability but also use his staff to reach far away areas. Tripitaka being able to decipher unreadable texts and using protection sutras to protect against environmental hazards. Sha Wujing (Sandy) being able to explore underwater or flooded areas. Zhu Bajie (Pigsy) sniffing out collectables or hidden items. Even the White Dragon Horse (Bai Long Ma) allows for fast travel and usage of his dragon form for aerial stages.

A new addition can be a Support Conversation system. Our hedgehog hero building bonds with the group boosting the chances of new Team Attacks, Combat Skills, and all kinds of perks.

We can’t forget about special powers either. For this, I’m thinking of something similar to the 72 Transformations called Alter Incarnation. A transformation ability allowing Sonic to transform into various creatures or even objects. Some optional transformations can only be unlocked by facing special bosses from Sonic’s past adventures in the Mind Palace.

The Mind Palace acting like a challenge mode and a way to upgrade Sonic’s abilities or items. Maybe even view cutscenes or different collectibles. It can even act as a menu of sorts.

Anyway, these optional transformations can range from Wisps to even locked forms such as the Werehog or Darkspine Sonic. Of course, you can either go alone or with one ally from the crew. Unique commentary being an extra bonus depending on what boss you choose and ally you bring in to help you.

For possible boss battles in the main game, I think the about various opponents our crew faced on their Journey To The West and some unexpected ones than just new Sonic bosses. Clash against Bull Demon King (or Demon Bull King to those in the west), exorcise the White Bone Spirit, find out the imposter with the Six Eared Macaque and maybe fend off an assault from Erlang Shen.

As area/levels, a blend of places from the JTTW like Mount Huagao (Flower Fruit Mountain), Land of Women, Sea Dragon Palace or even the Celestial Realms, new levels originally from Sonic’s world and even areas that are a mixture of both to show the growing threat of this outta control magic.

Rating wise, I say Teen just so Sonic gets a chance to either swear or at least one F bomb. Shadow was able to swear in that edgy ass Shadow the Hedgehog game so why not the Blue Blur? Plus the Monkey King is most likely not to stay PG either.

Devil May Cry Order by Timeline

Hello everyone. I’m still alive even though my main blog has been a bit slow compared to my side one. I got a bunch of sketches saved up, mainly some oldies from my smaller sketchbook.

Now, the reason why I’m really writing this is just a timeline for some franchises I know well. Right now, it’s Devil May Cry.

This stylish beat em up franchise has at least 5 different games, two to three having special editions. Now, some people can get confused with the timeline especially when they start playing Devil May Cry 3. So, here’s the proper timeline between games!

Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry 5.

The reason Devil May Cry 3 is the start is because this game is actually a prequel to Devil May Cry 1!

Happy Valentine’s day everyone! Just like the other random pairings, they’re either serious, crack, joke, or salt at misused franchises and poor canon choices. Now including some tidbits like meeting or such. Might right fics with these pairings. Enjoy.

Jonathan Joestar x Sandy (LMK), ship name TeaWives

• Met in a grocery store at Megapolis searching for tea.

• Jonathan initiated it with a invite at the local teahouse.

• Sandy sealed the deal by asking Jonathan out.

• Mutual pining between the two. Cuddling guaranteed.

• Neither of them get jealous easily. They are protective, mostly Jonathan whose the bodyguard of the relationship.

10th Doctor x Macaque, shipname is LonelyHearts

• Met in the Tardis (as said ship believes the Doctor needed a friend.) Slow mutual pining.

• Doctor initiated it by taking Macaque on a ride across space and time.

• Macaque sealed it by kissing the Doctor after a harrowing adventure and both confess.

• The Doctor is the one to get easily jealous and Macaque is the possessive partner.

• Make outs are guaranteed as much as cuddling. Macaque is quite handsy.

Hank J. Wimbleton x Dante Sparda, shipname is CrimsonBullet

• Met in Hell (apparently Tricky’s purgatory connected to the hellscape from Devil May Cry.)

• Curiosity spiked the whole debacle with the creachurr practically following the hunter. (Hank likes weird shit and he thinks Dante is weird, which the man is)

• Hank initiates with random gifts(simple stuff to demon guts)

• Dante seals the deal. How? It’s up to you guys.

• Possessive as hell Hank guaranteed. This creachurr won’t hesitate to shoot someone. Dante only gets possessive around demons.

• Prefers sleeping next to each other more than cuddling. (Both suck at cuddles via inexperience)

Josuke Higashikata x Ben Tennyson, shipname is OmniDiamond

• Met in Japan during summer vacation as children. Reunited later in Bellwood as teenagers.

• Mutual pining although both are slightly dense. (Crazy Diamond isn’t and has to lead things along.) Josuke initiates by hanging out.

• Ben seals the deal via asking Josuke on a date.

• Josuke is a cuddler while Ben is the one to get jealous.

• Super protective of each other so expect a nightmarish beatdown on anyone dumb enough to cross the line.

Jak Mar x Raiden Pierce Okamoto, shipname is TwoWorlds

• Met on Misty Island because of a portal gone wrong. Does reunite years later as young adults.

• Mutual pining although Jak is a bit dense and Ray(Raiden) is more focused on getting home. (Daxter and Bob(Tatsurion) have to subtly lead them on)

• Jak initiates by helping Ray in any way he can.

• Ray seals the deal with a confession. (Daxter shouts finally in the background)

• Both get easily jealous and are protective. Ray is more protective once reuniting (Beginning of Jak 2 is the reason) Comfort cuddles guaranteed.

Vergil Sparda x Balan, shipname Fell theatrics

• Met in Wonderworld Theatre (a certain blue devil has been long overdue for a visit)

• Mutual pining (although both are nervous and unaware of shared feelings)

• Balan initiates giving advice and small gifts alongside the usual help.

• Vergil seals the deal through a confession.

• Vergil is quick to jealous and possessive. Balan is super protective. Cuddles are guaranteed with this maestro.

“Hey Hank! It’s gonna rain soon. Come inside before you catch a cold!”-???, A concerned companion to Nevada’s Most Wanted.

“…Fine.”-Hank J. Wimbleton, former grunt assassin now hybrid protector.

‘This body…so familiar yet so different. I feel heavy but also light. Like I can crush a Mag’s head with a single hand yet move quieter than a simple breeze.

…I’m glad no one else could read my thoughts cause I probably sound like a nerd. Going to take some time getting used to this new larger form. Heh, no wonder why the squirt calls me an 'Oni’.

…Cause I’m a devil, bloodthirsty and greedy.’

An actual artistic contribution to this fandom than just some headcanons and sharing a catch up video?! I was trying to get a design for this big ol lug which I call Oni MAG Hank, a complete MAG form of Nevada’s Most Wanted.

For anyone curious, Oni means 'ogre’ in Japanese and there are various depictions through all sorts of media. I wanted to add some inspiration to the design than just the razor sharp fangs or tusks such as the hakuma trousers, chest plate, and even obi sash.

As for the light blue hair, that isn’t hair. Those are actually scales, feather thin but sharp like quills.

For the mysterious person, I actually have an Madness Combat AU in the works which will go into this particular design alongside much more. Just know that this stranger and Hank are close in a spiritual sense. I will put the link here once I’m done.

“Let’s see how the masses dance to beat of my drums tonight. This is gonna be sensational.”-Cathal Caliente, linguistic major and drummer for the Vagabonds.

“Gordon, I’m the vocalist! Save your voice for your nephews’ request later. We’ve got a show to start!”-Rong Rou, ancient warrior and singer for the Vagabonds.

The Vagabonds, one of Megapolis’ most unique bands. They consist of three main members and are currently looking for a fourth seat.

Gordon 'Big Cheese’ Walker

Gender: Male

Height: 6'8

Species: Rat Yaoguai

This rat demon moved to Megapolis from the United States around his early 20s in search of a new life. His nickname is derived from a character belonging to a cartoon he watched as a child. He loves surfing and trying different foods.

Gordon is a part of subspecies known as the Sun Rodent. These beings can absorb and manipulate sunlight in any sharp or form for various purposes. Gordon often uses it to power his guitar.

Cathal Caliente

Age: 29

Gender: Hermaphrodite (Pronouns- He/They)

Height: 15'6 long

Species: ½ Gulper Eel, ½ Mexican Mole Lizard Yaoguai

Cathal Caliente is the child of a Gulper Eel father and Mexican Mole Lizard mother. He moved to Megapolis from their birthplace in Portugal where their parents still live.

He has a love for knowledge mainly on the world of language and culture. Cathal does translation work for the band when not playing on the drums. Quick to anger. The strange spines on his back might be an abnormal formation from birth.

Cathal has the ability to create living constructs through some type of geomancy. Few speculate it could be a form of necromancy as there been sightings of strange behavior from these golems. They’re used to handle any missing instrument or vocal for songs used in performance.

Rong Rou

Age: 5500+

Gender: Female

Height: 3'4

Species: ¾ Pygmy Marmoset, ¼ Colugo Yaoguai

A hybrid whose grandfather is a Colugo born from a thunderstorm, Pygmy Marmoset mother and ½ Colugo/Pygmy Marmoset father. Rumored to have her name written off the Book of Death by Sun Wukong and is from Flower Fruit Mountain.

Rong used to be a wanderer long before the Vagabonds were even thought of. She is very easy to anger especially involving her height. Just like her grandfather, Rong can manipulate lightning and electricity. Even using it to alter her vocal chords to handle songs with lower or higher pitches on the fly.

???: She hasn’t changed at all even when our home had been set ablaze by Erlang Shen and his soldiers.

How she struck them all with the strongest bolt of lightning her small body could muster. The blood they left as returned to the heavens wounded by her righteous rage.

And used the blood of those despicable immortals to forge her dear halberd, Paradise Lost. After all these centuries, will she ever visit her birth place? Or did that dreadful blaze stun deeper into her heart than ours from the absence of our king in those dark times? We may never know.

I bet you all been wondering when I was going to make any actual LMK OCs. I had these for quite awhile and plan on updating their designs a bit.

These three will be popping up in my stories. All of them are in the order of who I drew first. So my first LMK was Gordon, a Rat Yaoguai instead of a monkey like many of the fandoms’ first OC.
