After many setbacks I began to wonder, if I would ever be able to imitate old soviet photographs. What was the secret? Can dSLR deliver a picture with crispness, contrast and grain of soviet analog? They yet feel so weathered, just like you are looking through dirty window pane.

Recently, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant revealed the secret and gave me access to the wisdom of ancient Masters. Only for a second, barely enough for couple of raw shots.

Turns out you have to take the picture through dirty window pane.
