These two are VERY accustomed to being active, and I could tell they needed to move. I was heading down for my run and I suggested they join me. They were ALL about it.

Carmendi created a core circuit for her and Jax to do, while I ran. I watched her coach him through good form and encourage him. I watched him work his little butt off. We listened to our favorite playlist, sang and worked out together and it made my little fitness-loving heart sing.

Tomorrow Jax is teaching us his kata which we’ll use for warm up and cool down before Carmendi’s total body circuit of death….that she already has written up.

Pray for me

Run a Q&A

Q&As are an easy way to make interactive content for your blog. When you host a Q&A, you invite your followers to send you questions that you answer directly from your inbox. It’s up to you which questions you answer and post.

Q&As can let your followers get to know you on a more personal level. They can be informative. Or they can be just for fun. There are two primary ways to host a Q&A.

ORIGINAL Q&As

  • Make a text post letting your followers know you’re starting a Q&A. You can choose a topic for the questions or just post “ask me anything.”
  • Wait for questions in your inbox.
  • Reply to the questions.
  • [Optional] Tag the answers #answers. You can then make a tagged page on your blogfor future followers to see.

REBLOG Q&As

You can also start an Q&A by reblogging popular Q&A text posts[bl]. These include a list of questions with an emoji or number next to them. Followers then message you a number or emoji attached to a question.

  • First, reblog the Q&A post.
  • Wait for messages in your inbox.
  • Find the corresponding question.
  • Reply to questions based on the emoji or number.

Try A New Identity On For Size

Sometimes it’s nice to get away. Find and explore new interests through side blogs. One of the best features of a side blog is that you can make it as attached or separate from your primary account as you wish.

After you’ve set up your new side blog, all the content you’ve liked on your main account will show up in your dash. This allows for you to have all the posts you’re interested in all in one place. Reblog content specific to your side blogs.

I’ve been going climbing a few times a week for a month or so. There’s a bouldering wall at one of the gyms on campus and a few other stat grad students that go regularly. It’s been easy to get into, a fun way to be active, and I really enjoy the incremental goals that you can attain one hold at a time. I’m so excited because I finally completed my first AND second routes today! what non-academic goals do you have?
