Summary: You’d hoped that things would ease up after the takeover announcement, once Stewy was back in the States, but if anything, it’s been getting worse.
“…How does he look so fucking pristine?” You ask in tired wonderment.
“It’s the hair. If his hair didn’t look so good, he’d seem nuts. Trust me, when his hair looked spiky after an all-nighter at school—not good,” Michael says, leaning back in his chair. The two of you consider Stewy as you watch his PGM interview.
“My focus is bringing Waystar Royco to its full earning potential.” The sound of Stewy’s voice is a little tinny through the tv in the conference room, but it’s still an annoyingly pleasing sound.
“It’s the beard, too,” Michael adds. “I mean, it’s gotta be.”
“Is Logan Roy fit to run a 21st century media organization?”
“No,” You and Michael answer Stewy in unison, despite the fact that Stewy can neither see nor hear you.
“Fucking—old man yelling down the television well,” Michael adds, sitting up and reaching for his laptop.
“Let me just make it very clear: Kendall Roy is no longer relevant. Now in regards to Sandy Furness, 100%—”
Michael reaches out, plucking up the remote and muting him. You keep your eyes on the subtitles, eyes darting between them and Stewy’s lips as you try match them up, despite the subtitled lag. Maybe it’s for sport, maybe it’s because the guy’s got nice lips—but it’s probably just because you really don’t want to work on the five other things you’ve got on your plate at the moment.
Stewy being a big bitch about Colbert then maybe feeling a teensy bit bad after seeing her reaction. (Michael is such a taint licker. I get it, he’s doing his job and pleasing the client but still)
Then when he followed them to Vegas!

You hardly look away from your screen as you hear the question.
“…Huh?” You manage after a long pause.
“You and me, are we, uh…”
You glance over, sweeping your eyes over Michael’s wary, hunched posture beside your desk.
“…Are we what?” You press. “We’re fine, what the fuck are you talking about?” Michael’s eyes flicker to you, dark and nervous. You hesitate before adding, “Michael, I’m giving you a clean slate here. Do me a favor—do not ask any more questions, and we can both forget whatever the fuck happened over the weekend. Okay?”
Michael’s eyes dart, stunned, across your face before he gives a single, firm nod. “Okay.”
Michael is just gross and that’s all I have to say about him rn.
I love Stewy finding out that he’s not Reader’s first rich asshole. Humble that bitch hehe. Although Reece can take a kick in the teeth for mentioning Kendall and the Roys.

Yes, read him out! I know Stewy has this easy-going persona and seems to take everything with a perfect quip but I like that Reader is indirectly telling him, he’s allowed to be tired with the reader. I think it ties back to why he makes Reader so unsure.
So that apartment visit went exactly how I expected. Won’t be surprised if he starts a GoFund me in reader’s name just to be a dick.
