Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of the animes that influenced me the most, so I love to paint Kiki in various versions and situations. Here are two images inspired by this awesome anime. If you’d like to support my book, it’s on Kickstarter for 47 more hours!
This week I went on a trip to Stockholm with a cruiser, aka. “the partyboat with drunk people puking and/or making out everywhere“. I stayed on this ship for two nights and there was a lot of stuff to do, from Karaoke to Bingo and Speed Dating, this ship ‘had it all’. Well, I did not participate in any of those activities, instead I bought a lot of good, finnish beer in the Tax Free Shop and stayed in my cabin with my friends most of the time, drinking, listening to music and talking a lot of bullshit. :D Since the other people outside were really annoying I was totally fine with that and I had way more fun with my friends anyway. Sometimes everywhere can be a good place if you just have the right people around you. (◠‿◠)
The most interesting part on this trip for me was actually Stockholm but unfortunately we only had five hours there till the ship went back to Helsinki. We really had to rush through the city what is a shame since Stockholm is so amazing and beautiful. I think I saw a lot for five hours though, like the Vasa Museum, the Old Town and the Royal Palace (from the outside :D).
Altogether I had a really fun, crazy, weird and adventurous time in those three days so the whole trip was really worth it and together with my awesome friends I would definitely do it again! ♥
