Sparred with some great fighters tonight with amazing potential, but I held my own and gave them some good shots back, especially towards the last few rounds. You couldn’t tell though, right? Roughly 8 weeks left until my first fight. Got to step it up so I am not giving them the opportunity to make me look this way. Yesterday I was discharged!
And then mom drove me home. Before we left for Devon,mom got a burger and a frosty. I’m also super uncomfortable when people eat while driving, especially when the burger is pretty sauce coated. You’re just asking to drop food on yourself. Anyways, she drifted a bit close to the edge of the lane a few times and I called her out on it and she told me that I definitely wouldn’t like how she drove while eating her frosty.
Two blocks later we are stopped behind a semi with a trailer. We were slowly turning the corner, breaks off, waiting for the semi to get going. This guy behind us starts laying on the horn and flipping us off and tailgating. . So of course mom slams on her breaks (huge fear by the way. I’ve been rear ended.
Chase him to the next lights and I told mom to block him in. Normally I wouldn’t care about this.
But look at this from a different perspective. There’s me, fresh from the hospital half. Five foot/152cm.

So there I am trying to yell at my mom to turn her hazards on. Took like a full minute and then she just was waiting for me to get up but hell, I expended all my energy just pushing the car door open.
Finally she came and helped me and we started driving and I told her she was right. I definitely did not like her frosty driving.
Woke up definitely feeling a bit worse for wear.
The whole back of my leg is just one big bruise.
