Top left: A hearty and homely lunch at a small family run restaurant in Himeji
Top right: Sashimi on ice at a posh izakaya in Osaka
Middle left: Delicious lunch tray at Yoshinihonkozu Tengyokudo
Middle right: a mochi which uses Kuzu - a natural starch made from arrowroot. Covered in brown sugar sauce and a peanutty powder.
Bottom left: Takoyaki: the famous ball-shaped street food made with floor batter and octopus, ginger and green onion
Bottom right: Just a simple big bowl of Ramen.

This is the giant Tsuzumi-mon (“Sacred Gate”) wooden gate which is the entrance to Kanazawa Station and is shaped as a traditional Torii gate.
It has huge drum-like legs, and had become a symbol of this Temple city which has the equivalent national population ranking of the UK’s Swindon or the US’s Tucson.

数年前に行った
窓辺のカウンターが素敵な珈琲店 .*｡
窓辺に飾られた額縁や小物や植物も素敵で
めっちゃ居心地が良かったなぁ♡
また山梨に行った時には訪れたいカフェ
10日からお盆休みだったけど
晴れたのは2日だけ…

花柄のプレートに薄ピンクのカップ＆ソーサーとちょこんと添えられた苺が可愛い*⑅୨୧
旦那さんはフルーツパフェを ♬
色んなフルーツにケーキものっててかなりボリューミーでビックリ(笑)
フルーツ何個か貰って食べたけどどれも甘くて美味しかったෆ
奈良に行った際にはまた寄りたい喫茶店でした

コーヒー専門店でカフェラテを頼むのは気が引けたけど、ここのカフェラテ、泡が滑らかで美味しかった！
素敵なカップやお花に癒されました♬
I felt ashamed to place an order a cup of cafe latte at the specialty coffee shop, but it was so good that the foam milk of this cafe latte is silky and smooth texture.
The beautiful cup and little flower made me smile

新婚旅行ハワイ編⑲
さて、ノースショアにはレンタカーを借りてドライブしながら来たのだが、思ったほど難しい道でもないし、特に大きな問題もなく到着した。主な目的は、ガーリックシュリンプの食べ比べと、日本人しかいないPatagoniaぐらいのもので、その後はのんびりコーヒーを飲んだり、散歩したり。コーヒーギャラリーというカフェではモカフリーズを頂いた。バニラアイスとエスプレッソをミックスした飲み物で、暑い体に染み入る美味しさ。絶品だった。
思い返しても最高だった。どうにかならんもんじゃろうか。。。

アメリカのシナモンロール屋、広島堂々上陸。アメリカの甘さ。日本では考えられない甘さ。甘すぎてカライ。
一度は撤退して、ハーフサイズのシナモンロールを引っさげて再上陸しただけある。
けど、うまいんだなこれが。
