Here’s what I’ve been up to this week, haha.
This sweet little momma calico cat showed up on the farmstead a few days ago with her SIX kittens in tow! Poor momma cat was exhausted when I found her out by the old milk house on Wednesday but after the first day of good food and clean water she perked right up and is already getting quite friendly. Her kittens are all still pretty shy but we’re working on it.
She keeps moving them around the property (and over onto a neighbor’s place too) so taming the kittens isn’t going to be easy but I’ll try my best because I want to find good homes for these guys! If all else fails I guess I’ll trap them when they get older—definitely want to get them all spayed and neutered.
If anyone here happens to be in the middle TN/southern KY area and is interested in giving one of these beauties a good home hit me up! There’s also a solid black kitten and a dark tabby with white I don’t have very good pictures of yet.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!!!
DOYOU WANT A CAT? OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO WANTS ONE? WELL HOLLY BOY DO I HAVE SOME NEWS FOR YA!I know two stray kittens. They’re about six months old now, and they’re the most affectionate babies ever. Sunny (M) is so playful, Tiny (F) so timid, but both would beg you to take them in your arms and cuddle with them. However, they are strays, and I already have two cats of my own. I’d happily take in two more but my landlord- my very own grandmother- would evict me, not to mention my own parents would totally murder me.
Anyway, so they’re both lovely! They also had a littermate called Lucky, but he’s disappeared for a while now… And I wouldn’t ask this if Sunny and Tiny both just weren’t the perfect house cats. Hell, they’re warmer to people than Eevee, my older cat!
I’m willing to pay for their vaccinations and their spaying/neutering surgery as well as their passports and transport cages when I finally start with my job on the second of January and get paid. All I’m asking of you however, is shipment costs. That’s all!
Please, please, please consider giving these lovely babies a home… They deserve it more than any cat I’ve ever known… Or at least, tell other people of them who are considering adopting a cat! Also, if you’re looking for a purebred cat, well… Arabian Maus are basically the stray cats of the Arabian Peninsula, and same goes for Aegeans in Greece. Who knows, maybe one day these Turkish strays will be recognized as a breed too! You’ll have your very own, completely original Turkish Mau!

If you’re interested in adopting a beautiful kitten from Turkey, please read this post and contact my friend (the OP). My good friend took these babies in to care for and while she loves them, she already has two cats of her own and needs these babies adopted out to good, loving homes!!!!!! Thank you! Additionally, if anyone here is experienced in flying out kittens from Turkey to the United States, please let me or OP know, we appreciate it very much. We are currently learning about the legalities and flight requirements.

When Cheese Toasty goes to the window to meow to go Out my mom and I sit him down and gently explain how when he’s inside he won’t get rained on and his water won’t give him worms and he has warm soft blankets to sleep on, etc. I wouldn’t bet money on him passing a written exam but think we’re getting through to him
I know this page has been quiet as I’ve been busy, but I just wanted to make a post saying that Arch Nemesis Uno went to the Rainbow Bridge today…
She lost a lot of weight very rapidly and was lethargic so I brought her inside last night and took her to the vet this afternoon. She was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia, and after discussing it with the vet we both decided it was best to let her go peacefully…
She was very happy and peaceful in the end.. laid in her kennel being loved on, purring the whole time, and giving me a look as if to let me know that it was ok.
I’m heartbroken and she will be very sorely missed by everyone who knew her…
